Hi all SPK parents

May I know if they require regular donations to school? What is the minimum?

Jenniferpl,

I don't think they need regular donations. As far as I know, just on the annual school magazine. (Please correct me if any parents have the kids in higher grade).  You can buy it at a fixed price or more, the excess will be for donation.

St Paul's Convent (not sure if primary or secondary) are expanding a new premises in June 2005, they have got a tree planting donation, it opens to all alumni members(i.e. ex-students).

I'm a working mother and I have clearly stated on the application form my office hours as requested. However, I think it depends on your elaboration of the time you spent with your child during the interview. The school do care about the 'relationship-bonding' and the independence of the kid.  

My girl has the shy character even though she has attended 1 year pre-nusery at Victoria. However, to my surprise, on the interview day at SPK, after we have entered into the same classroom, one of the teacher has led her to another side of the room and my girl  jsut followed the teacher and my husband and myself were interviewed by another teacher on the another side of the room. Thanks God. My girl has the luck of being admited into SPK.  Just hope she'll have a happy kindergarten life here.

Thanks for your sharing, my child is studying N1 right now at Keen mind, I think she will be better later on.  I will not put a lot of pressure on her. I will treat it as a bonus if she can get admitted to this kinder.

1 of the classmate in my girl's class is on the waiting list.  We don't know the reason.
