係就係去獅城，不過無得坐A380，因為之前豬流感停課關係，遲遲都出唔到個假期表，遲咗訂機票，所以無得試吓呢架空中巨無霸，亞仔有少少失望 好彩後來都訂到其他航空公司，佢至開心番

Dear all existing Logo parents,

Sorry for distrubing you in sharing the happiness happened in school here and I found most of the parents are quite helpful so I choose to post my questions here and hope someone would help.

1. The school is planning to have some classes attend at Stanley? (I heard from other post)

2. The Principle is intended to choose the rich family for FS1 newcomer?

3. Will they tend to select the childs graduated from famous kindergarten for FS1?

4. Only those smart guy can survive in Logo? Don't you think a child who is not so aggressive capable of handling the assignment when he reach the upper level say DS level?

Many thanks in advance and I hope one day I will become part of yours.

Hi dadbu,

The plan has been changed la.  No more at Stanley.

I thinks it a mis-interpretation.   I know Logos families in different class and have common goal as the Principal Yau.


3. Will they tend to select the childs graduated from famous kindergarten for FS1?
same anwer as 2.

4. Only those smart guy can survive in Logo?
Children are "smart" in different aspects.  My child's classmates are smart in their given aspects.

Don't you think a child who is not so aggressive capable of handling the assignment when he reach the upper level say DS level?
If "aggressive" means willing to express themselves, then yes.  But don't worry.  Logos creates many opportunites to help students to build up their "aggressiveness" according to their pace.  Parents' cooperation with the School is very important to bring the best road for their child, not just the School.

I have applied for LOGOS and will have interview in coming sept. I have some questions, hope if any parents can kindly answer.

My son application number is around 120, but his interview time is on the first day afternoon. I know LOGOS have only 2 days of interview and more than a thousand applicant each year, then how come the time does not fit into the schedule, so they interview student not according to the sequence of the appplication number? Or this year has less applicants?

Also, I have heard that Tseung kwun O have many youngsters (some good and some bad), so do LOGOS students interact quit a lot with people leave in TKO. Do you LOGO's parent concern about this?

Dear Kangaroo,

Re your question 1 at para 2, I don't think an ordinary current Logos parent will have sufficient information or in the position to give an answer. Anyway, I assume that from the point of view of a prospective Logos parent, it will be happy enough to learn that the kid has been given a chance for interview with a fixed date.

Re your question 2 at para 3, I can say that bad guys are not uncommon in every districts. The social order in TKO is not particularly bad especially in the schools areas in TKL. Students have to be protected but also have to face different situations in society. I know that some parents would like to arrange school bus for the kids just for security reasons but not for travelling concerns.

其實你無須理會你個編號(因我覺得只是一個號碼而已),亦無須理會有多少申請人,我覺得你只需要為自己嘅孩子好好準備,例如:前一晚早點睡,讓孩子可以精精神神參與就OK, 不要給予孩子 & 自己太大壓力。

至於本區問題,其實香港每一區都會有壞孩子,難道半山區不會有壞孩子??天水圍就沒有乖孩子??只要做家長好好教導,好好了解他們,不用太擔心。

你的問題: 若有兄/姐成功入讀, 會否增加弟/妹報讀機會?

呢類有關學校政策問題, 其實透過小一簡介會直接問學校會好D, 因為我地始終係一般家長, 不過, 我都知如果要參加小一簡介會, 可能要等明年了.

我以前都聽過有好多類似讀緊的家長講呢個問題, 應該是沒有關係的, 兩個小朋友是獨立考慮的, 家長要為小朋友找合適的學校, 而兩位小朋友的特質未必是一樣的, 就好像KenBaBa兩位公子, 小皇子讀真道, 大皇子讀KenBaBa的母校.

如有錯漏, 請其他家長指正.

當然做父母的, 始終想小朋友讀同一間學校, 在照顧和接送方面, 會較易作出安排.

無論如何, 都祝福你可以幫大仔找到合適的學校.

Hi mmcht,

好耐無見，幾好嗎？
最近幾個星期忙於大執屋，執到腰都赤，企到脚都痠，連上次茶叙都嚟唔到，希望執到qq開學就攪掂，到時再約大家飲茶啦！

至於Kangaroo的兄弟姊妹入學疑問，我諗首要係家長同學校啱key，咁樣先至容易合拍和唱吖嘛；其次當然係個小朋友啱level，啱 level 會令個小朋友讀得開心。

高level 就入咗後都要快升啲，同level當然齊齊上齊齊唱最和弦，level未到咪等一等，學到啱level咪入嚟同哥哥姐姐一齊玩囉。

如果其他前輩後達有其他見解，多多指正。

Thanks for your reply. Sorry about asking so much questions. As parents, we hope to do our best to find a suitable school for our kids. I always want my kids can enjoy their school life and childhood, instead of spending all of their time doing homework and examinations. I know LOGOS students enjoy going to school. I also agree with LOGOS's mission and vision. That is why I have applied LOGOS for my son, hope he can get an offer.
