They are really good friends. Have you seen the photos from the website? There are a couple photos showing Davin and Preston playing together, getting along well. I asked Preston who's his good friend in class, the 1st one he mentioned was Davin. BTW, how did Preston take picture for Davin?

I know that some kids living in Kln Bay take school bus as well.  I'm sure the school can take kid to/from Kuwn Tong.  Of course, the best way to know is to ask the school directly.

I also know that Davin & Preston get along well with each other.  Besides this new friend, Davin also mentions about some other new names quite often, like Michael.

Same as PN, when kid gets into the classroom, he will get his own picture from the table & stick it to a certain board to show his attendance.  This is the picture I mentioned about.  I saw Preston twice taking picture for Davin when he enters the classroom & let Davin stick on the board.

Btw, I could see some dried '鼻涕' in the nose of Preston.  Do take care of him.  And, I met your domestic helper to art palace last week.  She seems to be quite okay.  At least she cared about Preston.  She gave him some water to drink before the lesson.

So shocking to know that today is the last day of Ms. Yvonne.  I saw the thank you card in Brian's handbook.  

Ms. Yvonne is really a good teacher.  I am sure every kid and parent in K1B will miss her.

I guess we all feel the same after know Ms Yvonne is leaving. I haven't really talked to her too much but I know she's a good teacher. Hope the new teacher will be as good as her or even better
    
Do you know they have a new teacher right on the 1st day?
The teachers think Preston is more shy and reserved this week after wearing the glasses. Maybe he is the only one wearing glasses and a bit odd from the classmates. Hope he'll get used to it soon.

Just like Ms. Angelika, Ms. Yvonne's leaving was so sudden that we were only informed last Friday.  I heard from Ms. Cheng in August that Ms. Yvonne is a half-day teacher.  To an English native-speaking teacher, teaching in kindergarten may not be that challenging.  Anyway, hope she enjoy her new job.

I do hope the new teacher is a good one.  Well,
Brian may need some time to be adapted to the new teacher.  Hope he will not cry this time.

Do you know if they have to perform on Open Day? I have to work that am, if yes, I may need to change week with my collegues. I want to see how they perform.

Really surprised to know Miss Yvonne left the kids all of a sudden.  Hope that Preston & Brian can get along well with the new teacher very soon.  As I said before, Davin is fine with new environment.  So, he will be fine anyway.

When we arrived at school today, I was surprised to see only two white teachers during morning exercise session.  I guess some of the teachers are taking leave as well.  I don't know if you noticed that not all English teachers are white.  I just guess that some English teachers are Asian.  Any idea ?

I talked to other mommies of K1B today (PNA last year) & know that Chow Suet Ching will be going to the trial class of Art Palace this Fri 5-6pm.  Maybe Preston will be happy about this.

I talked to Miss Cheng yesterday, they still don't have a fixed English teacher yet. Hope the school can find a good one soon.

You're welcome.  Ching Ching is quite a cheerful girl.  Hope she would join that art class.

Miss Cheng called me again just now.  She said my son got hurt a bit at school.  I would check it out tonight.  No big deal, she said & I think.

English teacher is not in place yet, Miss Cheng said.  The other teacher in the class is responsible for phonics.  Hope the school could recruit one asap.

I also received Ms. Cheng's call yesterday afternoon, talking about Brian's performance.  It's good to know that all the kids get along well with Ms. Bai.  However, I still hope that the new teacher will join K1B very soon.

Miss Cheng said he cried, but when she said she gave him a big kiss, he stopped immediately.  He's got a bandage, Miss Cheng said.  Thanks.  I'll check it out tonight.

I agree with ljsze, Miss Cheng is very hard working, I don't expect the teacher can update the photos so quickly. It's so nice to see what they do at school and the kids all enjoy school so much.

Would like to tell you that Brian & Davin played together during morning exercise.  And, Preston was quite happy when he saw Davin during morning exercise time.

My son was fine.  As usual, he refused to have the bandage changed.  For some unknown reasons, when he's got bandage, he doesn't want to take it off.

Good to know that Brian and Davin played together.  While Brian was having dinner last night, he told me suddenly that Davin got hurt on his chin while playing in the playground.  He said Davin cried loudly for a while and stopped very soon.  He said Davin is smart.  :)

Different from Davin, Brian hates any bandage or cold pad.  He refused strongly even if he got hurt or if he got fever.

Preston used to hate bandages. But after I use some cute ones, he likes it very much. Try 3M with 'mickey, cars, winnie the pooh,etc....' and it's waterproof. You can buy from Mannings.

I've tried to use bandages with cute patterns already.  I think Brian hates the feelings of having sth stuck on his skin.  Anyway, it's alright and I will not force him to use it.  Sometimes, I may use protection spray instead of bandage.

Good to hear that Brian can tell you much more about school now.  Davin also improves & is able to tell me more about school.  I asked him how he got injured & he could describe clearly to me with action.

Davin will be going to another art lesson tmr in kln tong at the same time slot.  I cannot see him during the lesson (which is usual).  Let's see if my son likes it or not before I make the final decision where to go.
