That is where most parents got stuck. Out of time, right? So many things to do, exercises, tuition classes, ECA classes and so much to revise for exams, dictations and tests. After everything is done, there is no time for reading, right? Reading is obviously the lowest priority.
The trick is, parents have to take reading up the priority ladder, before exercises, before tuition class, before some of the ECAs, reduce English revision time, etc. If it means 70% rather than 90% in English dictation or tests, so be it. Soon your child will get back to 90% WITH an interest in reading.
The question is, do you have the guts to raise the priority.
