Both of my sons were taken the immunization of Hib. I learned that this kind of injection is recommended for the child under 2 only, but your child is 26 months now, may be your need take more consideration. I think it is better to take the injection of chickenpot for the age>2, I still in consider whether to inject for my sons or not.

我個大仔剛剛才參加"紫昕有您,音樂通天地"於文化中Ｉ心的演出.於8月15日還會參與"陳亮老師學生演唱會"於大會堂之表演.所有之表演是由Km安排及指導.老實講,我覺得km都頗積極爭取見報率.作為家長,我認為可以給孩子接觸不同的事物,亦是一個難得的機會讓其發揮.

其實讀下午班有下午班好，唔使趕時間，老師應該冇咁忙，有可以讀int'l class，如果我琳琳改倒訓覺時間，我都比佢讀，可惜佢暫時一次都唔得，捱唔過1:00pm已經訓佐，所以我support妳呀。

I went to the clinic twice. Both on Saturday morning, the first time I have waited for 1hr, the second time 2 hours.  The nurse said we better go on weekday afternoon.

In that case, I will try to arrange for a weeday appointment.  But going in the afternoon can be a problem too because Daniel sleeps 3 hours in the afternoon.  By the time he wakes up, it is around 5pm.  That means, the appointment has to be made for 6pm.  There could still be many people in the clinic since it is after office hours.  Anyway, thanks for your advice.

我轉下午班係仲有一個原因, 由於佢爸爸收工較夜, 若仔仔太早訓就會見少左個仔, 所以都係返下午班好d, 爭取時間見多d嘛!

My daughter Michelle is now studying at KM PM N1, will be repeated this Sept as well since she was born in Jan 02.  Would like to share with you her sleeping pattern, my girl used to take a nap around 4pm-6:30pm before she studied at KM, in the first week of she went to KM, she fell asleep already on the school bus home.  Then she stayed up late till 10, 11pm (both my husband and me are working parents) and only woke up at 10, 11 am on the next day, she had skipped the nap during the day.  During this summer, she is taking the summer school at KM in the morning, so she had to wake up at 7:40am, so either she would sleep 4-6pm & 10pm-7:40am or go to sleep around 8pm-7:40am.  As long as she would sleep 12 hours throughout the day, I am fine with it.

Thanks for sharing.  My boy usually take a nap at around 1:30pm for an hour in the afternoon and go to bed at around 10:30pm at night till 8:45am next morning.

If he didn't take the nap in the afternoon, he will go to bed earlier at around 9:00pm and wake up at normal time (i.e. around 8:45am).  That means he will adjust his sleeping time and combine 2 in 1.

So, I have confident that he will get used to taking pm class.

My case is quite similar to you. My son is 16 mths now. I would like to apply nursury for him. However, as I known, we should apply at end of this year. Do you let your child to take school bus? Why you prefer  劍鳴?

moody & 大寶b Please be advised that mostly our BB were born in 2002 Besides, all the baby should be 2 years old while they join the class.  I love KM because they will provide English class & Putonghau clase.

I still not decised whether to the parent's day or not.
I also worry about Edmond, may be he will cry in the class. So, I prepare to accompany with him in the first two weeks.

I think almost every child will cry on their first few days at school, or more precisely, on separation from their parents/caretakers.  But as far as I know, we are only allowed to accompany our children for the first week but not for the second.  You may double check with the school or refer to the latest letter that you received regarding the parent's day.

We started our database here approximately 2 months ago and the age of our children have never been updated.  Those 18 months old children are 20 months old now.  Likewise, my son Daniel is now 27 months (not 25).  

You are correct.  Those children on the list have already been confirmed admission into KM but they will not start going to school until they reach the age of 2, which will be around December.

As for both of your cases, you may apply for KM at the end of this year (or even now) and they will arrange for an interview when it is appropriate to do so. If your children are admitted, they will go to school when they turn 2 years old.

Are all of you live near to Kowloon Tong? As I live in Hung Hom? I just worry about the transportation? Actually, there are some kindergartens in Whampoa providing the nursury class. However, I think KM is more suitable to the children because they adapt the active class, not traditional class.

Hi Moody & 大寶B,

I don't live in Kowloon Tong.  I live in Tai Wai, just one station off Kowloon Tong.  However, I will send Daniel to school by myself and let him take the school bus back home.  I want him to be more independent and have more interaction with other children.  I got my driving licence when I was only 17 (not in Hong Kong) and has been an active driver since.  Don't worry, practice is the only key to good driving skills.  

大寶B,if you send Justin to school everyday, you should be fine in about one month's time.  Have confidence in yourself!

Regarding the interview, it was really easy.  Daniel was given a puzzle and was asked to put the pieces (circles of various sizes) back into the correct places.  The teacher then showed him an apple and a banana and asked him what it was.  She then asked Daniel to give mommy the apple and daddy the banana.  Next she pushed a toy car towards Daniel and asked Daniel to push it back to her.  They did this back and forth for several times.  Later on, she took out 2 paper cups, one filled with beans and the other one was empty.  She asked Daniel to pass the empty one to daddy and the other to mommy, etc.  Finally, the teacher asked me a few questions, eg. who looks after Daniel, why did I select KM, etc.  Don't worry about it.  I am sure almost all children should be able to follow those simple instructions.

Are both of you full-time housewive? I'm a working mom. If I choose KM, I must let my son take the school bus everyday. I'm not sure it is good for a child in 2years old to take a school bus. Or I should find a nursury nearby. It is a big question to me.
