我報了親子水墨畫9:30a.m.那一班，Charles是不是報11:00a.m.？我沒有收到取消的通知，希望不要連這班也開不成！

There are many activities on Saturday, but almost all in the morning.  If the boys have already joined the music classes, the school teams (there are many school teams), etc, they could not spare their time to join other activities.

Just like my boy, we also like the English Drama classes.  However, he has to join the orchestra practice for 2.5 hours in the Saturday morning, so he could not join.

In fact, there are many boys joined the Saturday activities.  The name list is 18 pages long (CSK, it has been announced in the school web page, under the news page), not yet including the music classes and the scout.  Maybe boys like sports/music more than art activities.

No worry, I saw your son's name in the list for 水墨畫. I want to join it with my son too, but he prefer to take the badminton class. It seems he has grown up a bit and doesn't like me follow him so much.

I guess I saw Charles yesterday. A little boy with bandages on his forehead and between upper lip & under nose. When Principal Lam saw him, she immediately ask him what's happen. She was so nice and care about children.

My son also has two activities on the Saturday morning, I originally plan to re-schedule them once he is accepted by the school course.
My son is not happy that no English Drama Club. I know he went to ask his teacher yesterday.

I think you can call the Principal, and tell her that you want to visit her. Then you can pass her your son's portfolio.
I was very lucky on the day I turned in the app form. There was no one in the hall, and I found that Principal Lam was sitting at one of the booth, so I went right to her. We chat for 15 minutes, and she took my son's portfolio.
I asked her why she has to seat in to take apps, she said this is the only chance that she can take a look at the parents. So I think, may be to some extent, there is some sort of marks given to the good impression parents??!

有呀，收到報名表，我老公已經幫阿仔作左及交左勒。係咁架啦，依家學校做果d專題研習，都係考我地家長多過學生，我大仔中秋節有一篇英文希臘神話文章，要做故事總結及作另一個結局，另外又要上網搵有關個故事既資料，有d生字我都要查字典，篇文起碼有中一程度，我覺得想摸家長既底多d。

Oh, I did not aware there is such a homework.  My son also did not mention that the competition is a must, so we did not join.

The "Roald Dahl嘅story book" used this year is much easier than that in last year.  My son can read it himself.

Why don't you use the intranet one ? She checks her intranet email quite frequent, always within 24 hours, faster than other teachers.

I'm unable to login the intranet via my office computer. And I was too busy & tired every night to write and send mail to her via intranet at home!

My son has finished reading the "Magic Finger" by himself.  He said he read it in the class (that meant he did not listen to the teacher)!
The English Panel did a good job this year in choosing the English books.

My son still prefers to read Chinese books.  For English, I need to push him a bit.  Roald Dahl seems to suit his level.

How about write the mail in a word document and attach (or cut and paste) it to the intranet mail after you go home.  Just a few minutes to send.

係呀，當然係用阿仔個名啦，不過正好同個題目好諷刺--「宣揚尊重知識產權」，因為佢爸爸既「知識產權」被迫讓阿仔「侵佔」左。

收到一睇真係嚇一跳，深得緊要。”Magic finger”幾好，我要求阿仔逐句讀俾我聽，再逐句解釋一次，有唔識要佢查字典，我覺得配合埋功課，可練到佢地既理解力。你阿仔真係乖喎，可以自己睇哂，我唔迫阿仔，都唔駛慌佢會自己睇。

某d班要做，唔係班班都需要做，唔做冇損失，成份功課考家長或者係佢地既補習老師，如果你有興趣，我可以傳真俾你睇下。佢地今年本故事書，真係淺過舊年，豈碼冇「一千零一夜」果兩個故事咁深。

同意Chungmingbaby話齋，今年所揀選既英文閱讀書本，非常之有趣，而且比佢地本身程度，只係高少少，唔係太艱深，豈碼可以引起佢地既興趣，太深而唔合佢地程度，根本令佢地吸收唔到，適得其反。
