I let Audrey bring school bag, but put one more 環保袋 inside.  And I saw other LK/UK kids also bring school bag.  I guess it's more "safe" to bring school bag .....

修女學校係會要求統一d架,所以我都買左1

生日會果日,學校通告話用環保袋,叫唔好帶書包,
但係校車ee又話個袋唔好,叫我地下次用番書包,
你地點睇?

我星期2會打番學校問下!!! ...

The school will change the questions every year.  But 1 adult can accompany the child to the classroom.  It's pretty easy.  And my daugter (and me of course) is not brilliant in answering the questions.  So don't worry!!!  Plus, my daugter is small girl (born Dec), non-catholic, and I'm working mom, so really no need to worry.  Just enjoy!!! Hope we can meet next year!

Dear wingyee,
I'm non-catholic, too...but how come people told me that it's extremely difficult to enter Sacred Heart Canossian?   Would you mind sharing some hints about what kind of questions did the teachers/sisters ask during your interview last year?   Interview - conducted in English or Cantonese?   感謝

To my experience, the interview was mainly conducted in Cantonese.  My whole family are 100% non-catholic, i am also a working mother, and my girl was born on 26/11/04, thus, also an extremely young gal!

Be relax!  Don't put too much pressure on your kid.   Maybe wing_yee and me both expected nothing for our kids were both young.  Thus, we perform natural and let our kids enjoy the interview.  Getting the offer was actually out of my expectation.

Well, I was just trying to let her feel the interview atmosphere and planned to let her be an elder candidate this coming year.  But, as she got the seat, I surely let her start the K.1 this year.

Dear Candietweety and Wing_yee,
Thanks a bunch!  I'm a working mother, too...and I need to fly out 1-2 times per month....so my gal is kind of more sticky to her daddy and for most of the pre-nursery interviews, two of them made a better match than myself + my daugther...do you think daddy + kid combination would be accepted by the sisters/ teachers at Canossian or not?   Sorry for being so long-winded and asked so many questions..hehe

as Sacred Heart is my dream school for my kid, I heartily hope that she could make it ...   hope we could be as lucky as all of you la...

Same thoughts with candietweety.  Last year, we just want to "try" what's like in interview, and prepared to be "big girl".  After all the interviews, my husband said: 如果阿女無書讀,一定唯你事問.  You can imagine, how dumb I am during the interviews.  So, really don't worry, ask your husband just be him during interviews.  And the interview won't last long.  You can get a view of the school as well.

紀紀 1st sharing is about Disney.  She is talking about the summer parade that "get wet".  But your girl is very good already, cos' when I ask 紀 what other kids talk about, it's just silence.

Thanks a lot ar~~ very good advice indeed~~ ...my husband is a very relaxed and calm person and I think he could still be "himself" during the interview..while i'm not..hehe...I'll let him do it then...

路過hi下你~~我同你一樣,生日會會帶school bag+環保袋 inside. 因為攞環保袋上落樓梯好危險,每次生日會咁多禮物,將佢放哂落書包就攪掂la!! 而環保袋通常生日個月先用到,因為有大禮物..........但上年嗰份釣魚game大到..........有環保袋都無用~~

聖心interview揀人係冇準則，可能靠緣份。同學當中有大女，細女，有宗教，冇宗教，working mom , not working mom，有D樣好醒，有D樣好普通。有d住將軍澳都收，住港島反而唔收。所有有意思的家長，只要放開懷抱，輕鬆面對interview，要收就一定會收，唔收只好說句無緣！

I finally finished the 我做得到 last night.  And it's really a challenge to ask me to "draw" sth.  And then Audrey said she want to "learn how to sing".  Then with my great drawing skills, I've drawn "someone" holding a "mic".
