You'll know when he returns home. Check his school bag and you'll find a Timetable with class # and the name of the homeroom teacher.  
The homeroom teachers are assigned with a cell phone by the school to facilitate communication between them & the parents. The school will distribute the notice to parents w/this info. later.

Wow, you're finally here!!  I've been waiting for you, haha!!

Looks like you're happy w/the class arrangement too! As 風雨同路 has said, the process is very “unique", transparent, and that it could only be witnessed at Logos.
With regard to your son's homeroom teacher, yes, I believe Principal Yau delivers his promise without fail this time by inviting a “Heavy Weight” VIP to join Logos, to reinforce the Chinese curriculum. To go along w/his plan, more quality NMT (Native Mandarin Teachers) are employed to teach our kids.
In the past, the school organized an introductory night where Principal Yau would introduce his teaching faculty to the parents. I look forward to attending this event. Don't miss it in case we have it again this year!

I went to the Parents' Choir today and it was really enjoyable. Glad to see old and new choir members.

Besides, my daughter got promotion to Elite Group at Sai Kung Children Choir, and she was very fond of singing.  

Actually I like the arrangement.  Parents join the Parent Choir and Kids join the Sai Kung Children Choir.  Both parents and kids may enjoy themselves.  Besides, we may play at playground before and after the choir.  It really is a big Logos family.

Does anyone know why there are 36 students in Class DS1E?

I don't know whether "Logosteacher" is still here around. Maybe he/she can tell us more about the class arrangement. I heard that the class arrangement for DS1 this year is based on the performance of the kids in their 2nd(not the final) assessment, i.e. Terms 2&3, in their FS2.
