問過學校有關問題,答覆大致係:Our Lawyer has confirmed that the passport does need to be sent. Once the documents have been returned you may well be able to link the passport; as their system should have updated the Nationality.
If you have not been able to link the passport, I suggest that you print any documentation that comes from the Home Office and keep it with the passport and BRP. Immigration will be able to check her profile and will be able to see that a change has been made/is in process on the system.
From what they understand; it will still be possible to present an expired BRP card at the border to assist a Border Force official in finding and checking the traveller's immigration status. Share codes can also be presented to check-in staff so that they can check that the traveller has a visa status that allows them to travel to the UK.
