My daughter just told me over the phone that she had birthday party yesterday, with birthday cake and potato chips.
But we were not informed beforehand.

i don't think so.........suppose we will receive the notice in advance for birthday party (party chop will be stamped in Handbook), the students didn't need to wear school uniform.

Yeah! That's why I feel so confused.
Usually I beleive what my daughter told me about her school life, but prehaps she is now old enough to make up her own story (as she has birthday this week, prehaps she would like a party at school then?!).
I will ask the Grandma to check with teacher today.

My daughter is willing to do her homework.  Due to Miss Lee's encouragement that they can stamp many stamps on their extra workpaper, she likes to do extra homework on her own (which I did not force her to do, but she insisted to do it).  

What's the name of your son/ daughter? My daughter's name  is Emily, she told me that she sits on the first seat of the first table as she is short.

Dear All K2H parents,
How's your children in 2H for the past 2 weeks? BTW, do you feel Ms.Poon/Ms.Tsang a strict teachers? My son told me that one day teacher (can't say Ms.Tsang/Ms.Poon) asked a talkative student to shut his mouth ;or else she would use a sticker to stick his mouth!
Also, I found Ms.Tsang/Ms.Poon are the traditional teachers, they seldom gave students sticker/candies as encouragement.  My son said he like K.1 when teachers always give him gift. How do you feel?

my son didn't told me about these matters regarding asked shut the student mouth or stick the student mouth.  
i think Ms Poon & Ms Poon are tough teachers, but my son also got a lot of sticker from Ms Poon or Ms Tang.

My daughter said she learned Mandarin in the class.  The teacher was Miss Yu.  She learned 小朋友好, 老師好.  And there was 跳跳虎 playing with them.
