yes 係呀. 話 in 時要交比老師. 此證都會影響取錄與否的.

I think the talk attendent card is a must. We attend the interview & my kid performed very well but we didn't attend the talk previously coz both parents & kid were sick on the talk day.

The school can call back & say we must attend the talk & submit the card before they release offer.

We have got the offer finally last week, (interview on Oct 17).

Btw, does anyone have friend or kids study in York now/before, is it as good as what Mrs Fung say on the talk??????

I am struggling on paying deposit or not.

我同事個囡已經係 YORK 畢業, 佢話個囡讀得好開心, 成績又好, 仲有好多間有名既小學都想收佢個囡, 最後佢選左女拔, 我個囡14號都會面試, 希望收我個囡啦！

u should call & ask.

cos my boy is 'small-B', we sent application at early SEPT, in fact, we kept waiting n waiting but didn't receive any info on interview.... until i heard my friend who had only sent application on OCT has already got interview invitation (but her boy is 2Y9M).

So i called to check(/beg?), they said my boy s not on the list.... and they will 'check again', after a few day i got their call telling me about interview time la. If i didn't call, i won't get it

Jeco, i don't the interview teacher really consider the "talk card" but only school policy requires it.

My daughter performed very good as well (I think it is the best interview so far, too bad, she didn't perform same standard in St Cat's interview), the teacher even said "pls take a look on the CD & you will know more before schooling next Sept. see you soon next yr". Also, when the staff called me, she even confirmed we can get AM seat before we attend the talk.

So I believe kid's performance is more important than attend the talk.

Btw, among the few interviews attended, I feel York's one is the best. i.e. the nicest where I feel my daughter is most happy. Not sure if other teachers are the same "nice".

What do you think?

我 10月寄form. 票都已過數. 我由寄 form 之後一星期開始打電話去問. 第一次有留名同電話, 但等了幾天冇回覆又再打. 問完小朋友幾月出生 (我女0701大B) 後就叫我等. 上星期話今個星期佢o地會處理完10月的 application. 如本星期內仍未收到信才再打電話check.
我知我遲寄 form. 所以特別心急 !!

我想知是否個個in完老師都會俾隻vcd呢?因為我個仔in時好怕羞,只講左自己個名,玩積木,drawing,扮講電話,走時推椅,但老師問d問題全都5答,老師已經俾我bb過一陣再in,但結果都一樣5肯出聲......但如果5收,俾隻vcd我做咩,睇嚟都無用la.....

唔洗擔心, york收300多個, 有好多人in咗都唔讀, 所以而家你都重有機會.

我這個無聊人, 又搭下咀先... 希望真係喜歡york 的家長都考到york, 雖則人講york 係人都收, 但佢又有本事同你教到d仔女, 叻仔叻女咁出去, 又何樂而不為?   放心吧~ 我個仔係超細仔, 但考學校都有不錯成績, 身邊d同學仔都係, 而家好多小學已經不再像以前只偏好某傳統名幼稚園, 而是真正小朋友出去論實力時候, 我識好多某些傳統名幼稚園家長今年情況.... 慘不忍睹....   

我不知講座是否會令家長入讀機會大增, 只知如果家長真心喜歡一間學校便應有深切了解, 只為打底的... 便留番d 位給其它人較好.... 而希望他們都考到自己心儀的幼稚園

有很多人怕了york 的負面comment, 如商業化便卻步, 的而且確在很多年前, 全港僅得一間學校為小朋友考公開試而被評為推小朋友入火坑, 但事實是, 這些公開試的而且確係一個大趨勢, 而且佢有本事由當年的pre-starters 至starters level, 繼而去movers level, 佢地咁有本事教我小朋友, 我不知幾開心. 考公開試根本係人都會去考, 呢個係幼稚園大趨勢, 而且令小朋友有信心自己做papers,  何樂而不為? 馮太比其它人有前瞻性, 在幼稚園中不會墨守成規, 努力創新而適應直資及私立小學要求, 我見某幼稚園, 在十年前我家人年代, 至今年亦是同一個syllabus, 學既野一樣, 固步自封, 令佢一直的優勢已經變得不再優勢, 每間幼稚園都力求上進, 所以希望各位真心希望york 的家長, 能好好享受這三年的honey moon!

Greatfully my son has been accpeted into am class but as your comments many of my friend has turned me down with the same reasons, honestly I wanted to know the allocation of P1 of York student, would anyone know where can I get the info?

Sorry, I am not sure only those ACCEPT will get CD or all will get. I guess you have to check with other mamas coz I did receive it.

Could I ask if you know there is any big chance on syllabus in York recently? I read news & they mentioned there is a big chance there, what is it?

Also, do you have the latest P1 placement result for sharing?
