Yes, my son also got the problem. I saw the notice on the next day, and they admitted there was log-in problem and asked the students to choose other timeslots to do the work (try not to do it after 9pm). Anyway, it is fixed these few day.

Does you son always do this Maths by himself? My son can handle some of them, and over 50% of them, he needs our help. Despite of this fact, my husband doesn't want him to give up. Sometimes the problem is very difficult and tricky, even we help him, we may not get it right.

聖方濟各的家長們，很高興在網上認識你們。我女兒今年將入讀SFA.當初安排女兒面試，只是聼說SFA較難考入，所以想給女兒試試。而心目中一直計劃讀九龍塘津貼學校，目前等下月派位通知。但現在女兒考人了，我開始動搖，很難決定。我很想聼一下你們的意見和了解下SFA的教學情況，興趣班情況。謝謝。

My opinion is....if the$1,900 school fee is not a consideration for you, you're better to go ahead.  SFA is a good school.

"其他興趣班"  I didn't join them long before.

My son joined 2 of Sat. extra-c. activities (oral and violin) when he was in the first term of P.1.  But they're bad.  I feel like wasting money and time.  

Generally, the courses fees are not too high....bit below market price.

I live near your place.  The school arrives at about 7:15-20 and back at around 3:10-15.  It's OK.

學校的課外活動班,都係比較大班教學,比外間一些私人的人數多了一點,幸好學校並沒有逼家長一定要參加,可以自己在
外面參加,再考入校隊都無問題.

或者講講我這三年對學校的體會,其實學校是有好多野放在係到,若小朋友自己主動的話,是會有好多得益的...例如,Nat teacher會小息係個課室到等學生去同佢傾計 (跟時間表),若小朋友自己主動去,就會學得多D,但唔去的話,都沒人逼你,閱讀快車的活動,小朋友自己肯參予的話,一定會愛上閱讀,.....好多其他的活動,昆虫組服務生呀,Perfer呀,比賽,作文呀,設計呀咁,係早會有宣報,有興趣的同學可以去老師取表報名,若小朋友自己唔去,家長係唔會知學校有這些活動的....所以叻的小朋友一定會係比較主動和留心的.

資優兒童班都是一樣,不過所提供的課程,就跟一般的課外活動不一樣,而是數十元材料費,但人數都是比較多,若小朋友是比較特出的,會有較多機會.

或者可以講話,學校係無精英培訓的,機會係提供了,但一定要自己投入參予,先會有所得著的.

總括來說,小兒讀了三年,是有進步,有得益,可補他的不足,開心上學.

你兒子已讀了三年，你覺的這所學校和九龍塘的津貼學校有麼不同處。當然不是同瑪利諾修院比了。
英文堂是Native teacher嗎。

The comment is only on those Sat. ECA only.  

My son joins the gift courses too.  It's OK.  

As I know, fees  are charged for all musical instruments courses and the addition oral classes.

The H.W. load is pretty heavy for a new P.1 students.  But, after the first term, you and your kid will feel OK in the second term.  You both will get used to that.  Don't worry.  

In P.2, the H.W. is much lesser than in P.1.

Generally, my son is very happy in this school, though he has complaints on somethings.

When he was in P.1, I required him went to bed before 9:30p.m.  But now, he goes to bed before 10:30p.m.  He plays the piano and flute or reading storybooks before bed.

I strongly agree the comment from Coma.

那所學校比較好,真係無得比較的,因為我無讀過,亂下評語,對兩所學校都唔公平.

但一般來講,私小的課程會比津校快,因為不用受教處的規模,但當然某一兩所特別出名的名津小,他們會有特別的教學方法.

而我私人的意見,我會認為若你的小朋友真係在無特別逼的方法下,用自己平常的能力而考到入去的,應該俾佢試下讀,因為若她跟得上的話,真係會平津小進步得快,當然若跟不上,開頭會比較辛苦,但若家長要求不太高,給他們多點時間,係會有得著的.始終考入去難,轉走容易.若不太介意學校硬件上及運動方面不出眾,在成績及投入獨立的發展係不錯的.

SFA的學生沒有斷層的情況,小朋友的差距不太大,眼見三年前不太特出的小朋友,慢慢一步一步的名列前茅,真令人振奮,所以每次派成績表都會好緊張,因為並沒有"當然"的情況,往往會有出人意表的排名......

My son studies the P.2 Putonghua Class.  It's pretty good and helps them in Learning Chinese.

The Chinese books are the same with the other classes.  All the things are the same.  The teacher is H.K. teacher, but very good in Putonghau.

併音 is taught by native Putonghua teacher during putonghau lessons.
