I haven't recd. the password via my daughter!!

Dear G1E parents,

Have received a spelling test note from my girl yesterday, it stated that the first spelling test should take place on 6th Oct., and the second one will be on 13th Oct.  Do anybody know that whether the frist test has been done?   If not, what should be prepared for the this Friday, the 6th Oct. one or the 13th Oct. one??  It also mentioned about a spelling book, did anybody receive??

wmoon幾次尖酸及帶挑釁的言論，另人看後多麼不舒服。wmoon是HKBUAS的家長嗎？

既然是wmoon的朋友兒子，該小朋友的情況及是否證實，你應該很清楚，無須在這兒反問吧。認為是學校講晒出來，倒不如反省下，為何將"他人"兒子的問題大肆在這兒談論，不太好吧！那家長同意wmoon做代言人嗎？我們都是很有心的家長們，都很愛小朋友 (不只是自己的)，如該小男孩家長真的想公開發表一下，歡迎親自上來說說感受，相信家長應該最明白子女需要怎樣的教育與生活。況且，wmoon尖酸的大肆談論，可能引起反效果，使小男孩被label或被投以奇異目光，他不是更可憐嗎？

至於內鬼不內鬼，不是着眼點吧。我們都愛小朋友，發表都是善意的，也發自良心。我倒希望校方可以時常上來看看家長的心聲。

雖然暫時我兒子仍未是浸小的學生, 恕我多言, 我想向所有家長分享一下對這位'過度活躍'小朋友的想法...
我曾有一位學生是有這個症狀, 他會在課室經常離位, 走出白板搗亂, 甚至常關掉我mic的擴音氣. 但他與我的一次單對單對話, 令我想通了不少東西. 他說:'老師, 我媽媽是好叻的' (他媽媽每次帶他都是頭髮很亂/聲很沙那種) '她是大學畢業的, 但她沒有上班, 因為她照顧我..........自此, 我用了很多方法, 最有效是一離位我便會坐他的位置, 由於他年紀小, 往往便會回來, 很有趣.

有幾點藉得一提
1) 現在教統局行'融合教育', 可申請支助去特別照顧這些小朋友, 應不可因此而要求學生退學
2) 由於IQ正常, 好像'讀寫困難'的小朋友, 也要讀普通學校
3) 其實校長, 老師, 社工等全不合資格做位'過度活躍症'的評估, 只可轉介臨床心理學家, 而浸小正有此資源. 其實有小朋友活躍, 資優, 衝動, 不專注便被誤評有此症, 可能全都不是
4) 暴力傾向與過度活躍症不是同一樣東西
5) 好消息是這症是可由TRAINING改善問題, 加上隨年紀長大, 會慢慢減退

學校及家長快點行動吧! 對有關小朋友及其他同學都公平點, 開心點!

Are you a parent of a stendent from A-school at all? If you aimed to complain the way that your friend's kid were being treated, why don't you approach the head master? I believe the school's decision is for the good sake for both your friend's kid and the students who are studing here. May be he/she can find another school that is more suitable to him?

I still have received any of the notice about password for Parents' Corner. My son is from G1A. As per our past experience sofar, different class has different process, even the distribution of notice. So just be patience.

Very good to hear this. Prefects from upper class esshow their leadership and take care of the lower classes.

Yesterday I saw this message in BK and asked my son in the evening.
My son asked me why did I know? Then he said he is a boy from G1E but has been to school yesterday. He is in Red Group of English Class and did his presentation on "favourite toy" yesterday. I think this little boy isn't hurt seriously.

How about your son? Has he done the presentation regarding family or his toy yet? Did you asked whether he like the class/school as well? :

Dear parents,
Don't be angry with "wmoon" and just forget and forgive "wmoon". I don't know his/her purpose of writing the messages. We can just thanks his/her for raising this issue on BK.
At least from this issue, I know about there is a boy that is so active in G1, and certain actions have been taken by School already. If warnings have been placed and still no improvement from the boy or his parent haven't take any action. To leave school is the only direction.
We, the parent cannot just leave our children to school and did nothing. remember HKBUAS emphasises very much on parents' education.

My son loves HKBUAS very soon. He said it's very large campus and he can play during recess.
My son is in Red group and will have his presentation on "my favourite toy" in the third week.
My son said it is always very noisy in G1A and thus sometimes the children cannot go down to playground during recess i.e. just stay at the classroom. Teachers will give marks for every lesson. Mr. Cheung said if they got 8 points for the lesson, they can have recess in the playground. Now the four monitors take care of the chore of G1A.
