Anybody bring their son/daugther to interview today?

How do you think they did?

My boy is interviewed for pre-nursery next year. His "performance" is not good, does not really listen to instruction all the way, may be only 1 or 2 times.  Just did not get shy or cry but love to go around and play.

I'm worried he can't get in especially when usually gals "performance" is better and more stable.

What are your experience?  Is it a lot of application for next year Pre-nursery.

今日都帶咗囡囡去in, 又係坐唔定, 想周圍攞玩具玩, 但指令方面大多可以完成, 不過唔係太準確, 有d要做兩次先做到, 例如叫佢拖車仔俾我嗰part, 佢就成架攞咗過嚟, 老師冇叫佢再做過, 唔知咁算唔算ok

I took my son for the K1 interview today too.  My son was born in Dec 07 and we had the interview in the morning with a group of 1 year old+ (possibly for PN). We are not sure why.  I think his performance was average.  There was a lot that he knew but didn't want to do because he's afraid of the foreign male teacher.  Anyone know if RHS will take 細仔?  Do they need to complete all tasks by himself to be accepted?

My girl interviewed on Sat and she is 08Dec baby, she interviewed for PN, and I heard that RHS takes "small kids"

My boy was interviewed on Sat for PN.  He is 08 Oct baby (also small boy).  I think he performed poorly too.

Do you know what is the rate of success? i.e., how many successful candidates out of applicants?  I remember the teacher told me in the school visit that they take 5 classes x 21 students (i.e., 105) but there were 500 applications.  Not sure if it's the same this year...

As the principle's replied, there were over 600 applicantions for this year.  I think the successfull rate is around 1:6.

係呀, 上年都已經有六百幾個申請, 我諗今年都唔少, 我報名嗰日九點多少少去到都要排四十幾號...

Yes, I heard similar successful ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 too.  The children of my session were about similar age.  Would that mean they take 1 candidate of each session?  Would that mean they take 1 candidate of each session?  

Parents, Is RHS your first choice? If not, what other kindergartens would come prior?

上年都已經有六百幾個申請-> include K1 or not?

In my session, only 2 candidates (include my son) are PN appliants while the rest are K1.  

I have also applied Lingnan but they have not informed me the interview date yet.  I know they have already interviewed "big baby" for PN class.  My "small baby" would stand a slim chance.

Yes, It is a slim chance, my son interview about 1100 hrs, the no. is 12XX.

me too, my son was born in Nov 07, small boy too.  he can't concentrate on what the teacher are talking about due to the whole table of toys...
i think that's not good to putting all the toys on the table at the same time....i don't know is there other kG interview like this cause i only apply for rhs only...

1：5/ 6？咁我諗會收我個細b都係超微，我仔只識晌度搞搞陣，四圍儸玩具!
因我個日去短短半個鐘 (等+interview)，已見d老師係咁同d家長(有兄/姐 讀緊佢地 幼/小學)打招呼! 我諗仲有d舊生父母都未計! 收呢類，都已佔一大堆。
個日我房內6個，5個係nursery!

I received their acceptance letter today for whole day class.  

Any other mommies received their letter?

I also received the acceptance letter for my son, he will attend the pre-nursery am class.

RHS also accepted my son at AM class!
