As parent, I am concerned on the university admission rate of the school concerned. To me, the 3322 indicator is more important than the 5 or 5* indicator of the school.
If the school just has about 50% universtiy admission rate, no matter how the school has the best of best or super famous reputation, is less relevant. I would have prime concern on whether my kid is the top half or bottom half in the school. The bottom half means he has no chance to study local teritary institution and must go abroad to further study.
I think most famous schools must tide over the diffiuclties in maintaining their traditional academic standard in the coming year. Otherwise, it is foreseeable that those declining traditional top notch schools cannot attract the elite students.
Would anyone know the current university admission rates of those famous traditional schools like DG, DB, Lasalle, etc? |
