result of ESF CAT1 or CAT2?

Dear everyone,
My hubby can speak Cantonese as 1st language and English as 2nd, however I am only in English and so do my son.  May I have a question that my son will be consider as Cat 1 or Cat 2?  And when will I know the result of ESF identify my son as Cat1 or either Cat2?  Will they let me know upon interview or after they accepted?

It depends on how you fill out the application form.

Whether the school let you know which Category you are in is dependent upon the school.  

But you will find out by the order of play visit.  Cat 1 play visits started Jan.. the later you have your play visit, the further down the list you are.
