I plan to go to school on foot by myself.
if your helper is not too busy, let her stay there for 3 hours and then pick your child home is not a bad option.

我係返PM，所以仲諗緊一係一程搭校車，返黎就請姐姐接佢,另一個方法就係2程都搭校車，但係我HUSBAND擔心阿仔未係好叻講野，驚佢到時係校車整親都唔知，所以現在仍然諗緊！

some school bus companies will charge 70% of a round trip fare if u just join the single trip. Better check whether it is worthy to do so.

Check already if from my distance (Kowloon West to Tsing Yi) the contract bus company said to me the round trip will cost $1200 but single trip will cost $980 as well.  Of course I know this is not worth to do so, however if only rely on my helper to bring my son to school I am just afraid that is really heavy to my helper since my helper is not very young.

1. The school bus should have kids seat belt for little kids, check out.

2. You have to let them to be independent, this is a very majot mindset why you put them in IS kinder.

then u can make your own decision...
Just wonder u think your son needs to be carried all the time? (of course, i always meet some ESF TY students being carried by helpers in Maritime Square.)
I believe when your son loves to go to school, he will be willing to walk by himself. Also, walking by themselves is another important experience for our little one to learn and overcome. Right?
If I were you, I would choose safety as my major concern. As long as your helper is reliable, it is always better going to school by MTR. In term of accidents, travelling by MTR should be much safer than by other vehicles running on the road. (-ve point: MTR may have more germs than school bus...)
I have the same concern as you, as i need to walk 10-15 minutes there! really a challenge for my helper to handle my lazy boy! Good luck!
