May i know which IS are these students from?  Wonder if GSIS has a preference on primary schools

My daughter had her assessment done today. She said some math questions were difficult.

They asked for the school reference too.  Our school is quite liberal on this.  When we asked our school to provide the reference, they also asked us what additional information and out-of-school achievement to be added in the reference.  I did not see the reference letter ourselves though.

Just wonder if they asked your child’s school for a confidential school reference last year? They are requesting it this year.
In case if my daughter couldn’t get an offer and needs to stay in her current school, it would be rather embarrassing  (emoji)

上週收到email通知參加2-tier assessment, 今天又收到GSIS email, 謂要現時小孩就讀之IS填寫recommendation form。但我擔心若叫現時學校出信，最後又未被GSIS取錄，會對小孩以後在原校升中那幾年有負面影響，畢竟已向原校透露了欲到其他IS念中學的意圖。請各位前輩賜教，應如何處理GSIS的要求。真心請教

English was creative writing and comprehension.  I don’t think it was multiple choice for comprehension.

Maths is short questions.  Not too difficult from my memory.

The deadline is today. They mistakenly sent to a wrong address.  Luckily they emailed me today, then i called them back to tell what happened...all and all.... they sent the offer letter to me by email again and i signed it. 雖然過程有少許轉折，但總算順利通過。

Yes, English and Maths only. It does mention they will invite students for interview after 2 tier assessment. but it’s been over a month, nothing heard from them yet.
