由local 名校轉IS

小女現時是一年級，在傳統私立名校讀小一，但老實說，學校功課默書唔多，但因為都考深，為了升班，當然有課外操練，加補習，返埋全日要玩真是很少時間,加上我都覺得佢吃力。

所以令我們有了轉IS的念頭，為首考慮當然是financial burden, 小女有細佬，我們年薪100萬多些，我知道呢個數唔多，但我們家庭無供樓負擔，退休會有一舊夠用的公積金，唔計那些annual capital levy。or debenture, is 同而家學費加補習應差2000-3000一個月。

細佬未想，但因為大囡性格比較自由，要學習方法有趣才引起到佢學習動機，但當然她現在會讀，但學習動機唔強，因為她覺得生活好悶。

我們看了幾間學校：
Esf (最難）
NAIS at LAM Tin
Think international
Kellet school
Shrewsbury

小女因讀英文小學，所以應應乎到is. 有經驗的家長，可以俾意見嗎？

When I called , I heard line up like 7x already but they will call those priority first ( foreigner parent , kids in KCS , kids sibling in KCIS ) .

I guess they select those with foreign passport first. For local

I applied KCIS on mid Oct n got call on early Dec .Then went interview ... Daddy is British . KCIS didn’t ask anything about Chinese subject . Just tested English n maths on interview day!

Your girl is mixed? I think most foreigner Daddy cannot stand the local system.

鄧你开心。唔係話local 绝对唔好或Int係perfect,但local school 而家種玩法實在令人吃不消。

呢d邊有得嬲ga，通常係失望或者眼淚在心裏流，可見呢個世代的家長幾惡

之前學費$4000+補習，同而家$7000幾學費完全冇分別，但係賺返個童年。好多主題學習，佢好鍾意返學。
睇吓你考唔考慮我嗰間蘇浙國際，但係聽人講都排得耐。（可能名校轉入嚟會排快啲)

名女校生是否中文小學上的? 好可能是英文出事。記得有jm講過話有人DGS過Harrow 都被學校評為英文較弱。

BTW,  即使名校生亦未必過到interview, 我有朋友子女係名校生加上平日有NET補英文，成績不錯今年考IS插班亦無offe
