入讀科大工程,無修M1/M2 , 第二年想入土木是否比較困難?

The answer is definitely not.
M1/M2 is only important for JUPAS entry because M1/M2 will be weighted 1.5 in the score calculation.
After you enter HKUST School of Engineering, all students will learn Calculus that will be taught from the fundamental.

And for choosing the major, M1/M2 is not as important as someone mentioned, but your year 1 CGA.

囡囡剛晌暑假參加左科大CIVIL 一個課程, 另佢大開眼界.... 滲出左興趣....但是, 全家對CIVIL這門專業都不大清楚....

想請教....UST Civil 有咩前景? 除左可apply HKIE, 可以向surveying 發展嗎? 如果讀HKU CIVIL, 範疇是咪一樣? 晌網上SEARCH一下, POLY , C POLY 都好似有類似CIVIL 課程, 但較細分....又有咩唔同? 請分享一下....

吾清楚, 我仔現在中三, 不過見大學學係工程比較低分入到, 所以留意.我識人入了商科, 佢話今次修讀其中一科經濟, 無讀過D 人會好難, 現1個月已教到中五內容.

admissions figures 2016 工程 lower quartile 其中1位同學考了 4443555
直接加分數睇落跌咗
但工程類計英+數＋science+best 2
4+4+5+5+5=23
weight Score = 38.5

2015 其中1位同學考了5455444
計5+5+5+4+4
weight Score = 39

2016比2015年低咗0.5分

2014 其中1位同學考了4353 4(best science) 55
計4+5+4+5+5
weight Score = 38.5

無讀M1/M2 好難入到工程x1.5 , 除非你其他科爆燈.
