Seems quite good for the p1 kids, hopefully it will not be too stressful in p2 or above.

Is the english standard ok there? compare to the kindergarten with more english teaching time?  Or need to go for tuition class for english now?

提開考試測驗, 沙呂小是在長假期前完成, 如10月中測驗, 12月中考試 (聖誕前), 3月中測驗 (EASTER前), 六月頭考試, 然後返一個月半天學就放暑假.

We entered in the last stage, knock door stage.

I think the pace so far for a p1 kid is quite good. My kid came from a private kg, not very pushing but not very hea, he adapted quite well. Regarding dictation and tests, he had 3 English dictation and 1 Chinese so far since sept, and will have tests in the end of October. And for me it's acceptable.

We applied 沙呂 with 20 marks as well, hope can get in, fingers crossed!

Actually, i have submitted the application in Sept for the one in City One, but ...

20 marks u need to enter the draw, there are always few 20 marks getting in city one, but really very few. Last year I also got 20 marks but failed, but I know some were successful. Considering the number of p1 students is more than that of last year, the chance is slimmer I guess. Anyways, both are good schools. Getting in either one is very good already. My son got admitted to city one Lmc finally, surprisingly the workload is not that much, and the pace so far is good. My son likes the school a lot, even more than his kindergarten even though his kg is already a very happy one.

Actually, i have submitted the application in Sept for the one in City One, but i thought the one in City One has swimming pool, and i know now that i am wrong, it is the one in Sha Tin Wai has swimming pool,  so that's why i mixed up and want to know more here.

By the way, i have 20 marks, would i have chance to get a place in 一呂? or no hope?

好難講邊間好, 各有特色吧, 一城果間有精英班, 小朋友受谷的自然會更精益求精, 每年入到呂中的人數亦較沙呂小多.  (可能因為沙呂名列前芧的學生較多出區外讀吧).  
一呂是以前上午校, 沿用舊校舍,位於沙田第一城; 沙呂是以前下午校, 用的是以前師範學校千禧校舍, 所以收生人數也會較多, 位於麗豪酒店後面, 其實是不難分的啊.

你可以上兩間學校網站比較下, 會令你有更多啟發.

學校未開學會在暑假搞一次旅行比小一新生及家長, 亦會有適應日三天, 及家長義工在首月全日在校幫忙, 適應校學生活是沒問題, 你擔心的是課程適應, 學校沒有教深, 一般小朋友無問題的, 當然如果你想成績超然, 無論讀邊間, 也要下苦功吧.  不過, 頭一年適應期, 不用太緊張學業吧.

其實用IPAD按情況需要, 不是每分每秒都用, 用電子書之餘, 學校亦鼓勵家長買印刷本, 在家中好好利用.
