Some basics for new Kindle users

For new Kindle users, the below basic info./reference may help you to start:



1. Send Documents and Web Pages to Your Kindle:

(You have to define your sender's email address in 'Your Approved Personal Document E-mail List' before you can use the document distribution service.)

6. In case your current Kindle cannot register Ámazon China directly, you may still install Kindle App in your home PC, smart phone or tablet and use it to register Amazon China to purchase Chinese children ebooks and then transfer the ebooks to your Kindle through USB cable.

Huba, thanks a lot..

I think it would be better for the kids' English language development if they use the eng-eng dictionary directly.

If there's a strong reason to rely on the eng-chi dictionary, I don't have a better way yet. Hope to see other Kindle users' sharing.

Huba, thanks a lot..
let me try try..
btw, I found that the eng-chi dictionary does not work very well.
It failed to search for any words in past tense or plural.  
However, I don't know how to adjust the word that I am going to search (unless I close the book that I am reading & open the dictionary & type in the word with correct form).  Do you know if here is any better way to improve the way of using the dictionary?
There is no such problem in the eng-eng dictionary.

關於你的第2條問題，我也留意到，可能是版權所限或是其他原因，估計跟戶口登記的地區有關，你可試試改用內地地址看看有何分別，或者直接向中國Amazon 查問一下。

不過，這情況並不發生在所有的書，以下是我剛查看到有價錢的其中一個書例:

在Kindle上打開購物車會帶你到Kindle shop，在Kindle shop 畫面上你會見到一個免費書類別。

如果主要是找免費英文書，我估美國及英國的Amazon會有多些選擇。

如果想在Amazon以外找免費英文書的話，你可以上去Project Gutenberg找找看：www.gutenberg.org
