The main difference is you can communicate, asking questions and getting answers, directly with the school officials. Doesn't it give you more confidence and comfort? Ii is about your own child's life for many years. If you can do it yourself and get first hand info, why rely 100% on someone you don't know?

Agree. All schools have website and emails. Why not contact the schools directly rather than relying on agents?

The agent will only tell you the data from the fact sheet.
I visited the schools and interviewed the headmasters before making the decision.
I will also consider the environment, say the people and facilities in the town.  Safety is also important.
