Only candidates with 2nd interview will have potential offer?  Those without 2nd interview = no offer, no waiting?

hi audrey mama,  ths for sharing.  what reason to let you made the decision to leave in K1?  Which kinder your daughter studing now?  would you pls give us some advise or compare the ad/disadvantage between these two school?

A friend went through a second interview last year and that's how I learnt about it. I was surprised too.  However, I didn't ask how exactly it was carried out because my kids weren't applying in the same year.  Though she got a second interview, she didn't get an offer finally.

What kind of interview would it be? Group or individual? What will they ask? Thx a lot!

my kid in in pn this yr, there was only one interview last yr.

There were 2nd interviews last year. They only invited potential candidates whom they thought a second chance should be given. If they could decide in the first interview, then there would be no second interview. That's how it worked last year.
I also asked one of the campuses and learnt the arrangement would be the same for this year.  Hope the information helps!

I guess this is the first ever that Victoria offered a 2nd interview...in previous yearssssss, they didn't....

Same here, none of my friends heard about 2nd interview in Victoria. Anyway, maybe the competition is too keen, the principal needs a final screen of all shortlisted candidates before they finalize the results.

I've tried to search the info on Victoria's 2nd interview on web, but nothing was found. My friends and colleagues who have children studied/studying in Victoria never heard of it.  No idea at all! Is it really the first time?

Why don't you guys try to call the school and ask for the format? As this is the first time to have 2nd interview, I think at least they will tell you whether it is one to one, group in, etc.
