請問有無人知將軍澳真道書院係Band幾呀？

真係好多謝各位寶貴意見，唔知上年入本地大學嘅成績又係點呢？又或者學校本身行IB，會唔會有D外國大學同佢哋掛勾呢？

Thanks ANChan59, about your comment " the university considers English Syllabus B at HL as pass in English" - do you mean getting 7 in Eng B HL?

In 2013 onward, IBO changed the English Curriculum. Syllabus A has two streams, Literature and Literature and Language Studies streams, both as HL and SL, also has English Syllabus B with HL and SL.

I also checked with LSE, the university considers English Syllabus B at HL as pass in English and no need to take IELTS.

If all Logos students take Eng B, do they take Chinese A, or can they take both B languages?  I was told sometime ago that Chinese A is very difficult and students will be competing with Mainland students.

The classification between Eng A and B is confusing, and most people think A is more difficult than B.  The truth is that only the focus is different: A is literature (mainly analytical skill and about 25% on usage) and B is usage (grammar etc).  To avoid further confusion, Eng A and B will be/has been replaced by Eng Literature and Eng Usage with a new subject called Eng Lit and Usage.  So taking Eng B does not necessarily mean that the students' Eng standard is low.  One should however bear in mind that some factualties will require Eng A (e.g. law), and students taking Eng B may have limitation in their choices.

I guess you refer to IS and ESF schools, it's a bit unfair to compare a local school with them. I am not sure what you mentioned all Syllabus B for IBers in Logs. If yes, it's surprise me.


How about Creative, DBS, CKY and SPCC? All Syllabus A?

如果所有學校都依照EBD的授課進度建議教學, 全港應沒有所謂學術水平低的中小學, 可能有學校會教快半年至一年以提高水平.
真道的學術水平不是偏低, 學生要讀得叻並不容易, 但學校有教無類, 對讀得不夠好的同學不會隨便踢走. 當然學校不是完美, 她有需要改善及進步的地方. 但作為用家三年, 我仍覺得她是一所對學生好,愛學生的學校.
不是所有真道精英皆報IBPD的, 有的想留港的會報DSE.

我聽的是四.五年前的事,當然唔及你親歷其境!正如我所說,鍾意佢的,一定好鍾意!
如果一間學校可以建立到學生與家長都對佢有歸屬感,這間學校已成功了一大半!

我話約十間,幾多間並唔係重點!我舊年睇新聞看到的,當然唔止十間,只不過報紙又何來那么多篇幅詳列甘多間,而公開咗的校名,真道又確係比其他傳統官津名校突出(因為估唔到),所以特別有印象姐!
後來好多其他中學知道那些名牌大學只in某些名牌中學,所以抗議拆訴,結果後來那些名牌大學要每間中學都recommend學生去interview!事情才解決!講得太多了!

十間肯定錯，唔好高估自己學校，剩係grant schools都唔止，有拔尖紀錄多數有。
