Don't be panic.. stay calm.
1) Make sure the assessment reports are from professionals (edu psy and clinical psy), some others not able to support you.
2) After getting the results (usually testing IQ, if IQ within normal range 8x-1xx), then it will proceed with the reading and writing assessment or ADHD assessment.
3) After getting the results, ask for recommendations on school, then you can ask for accommodations from school on exam and special attention.
4) If the school is not supporting, change school as soon as possible. These children needs teachers' understanding and parents' caring and intensive support. They will be fine with all supports. My child has multiple difficulties, I have to teach the child by myself as tutoring and other teachers do not understand the difficulties. I am supporting her in language learning and maths learning, difficult, but I see the progress. But you have to use the right ways and with right attitudes. Follow the child's level, give them special input.
Go to special organizations, such as Heep Hong or Christian service, they are very professional in giving you advices on how to support these children.
