其實讀medi少啲IQ和EQ都唔得，見到啲醫生得個做字,還時時比大佬鬧都幾慘!

I guess it may be easier but still a bit difficult. See the following under "CU Undergraduate Admission".  I think it refers to both inter-faculty and inter-university transfers:

I echo your views and appreciated CUHK accommodating to her personal need & goal.

In my time, it's more difficult to change majors as i studied in HK & UK. Nowadays, we may have more than single degree and switching fields instead of jobs...... everyone deserves a second option

A part of growing up for this young lady.. to explore, to understand life ..., to make life decisions

University education should allow students to explore and to change their study focus after their exploration, irrespective of what subjects, every year, young university students change their majors, I do think this is good..

Good to see Chinese U be able to accommodate  young people's growing up needs.

Sometimes it is impossible for u students to understand their interest without changing their mind, irrespective of what subjects and irrespective of what age they are...

入醫學院唔一定要做醫生。

做醫生亦有性質完全唔用的各種專科比唔同興趣的人做。

凱琳個case其實應該做一年intercalated degree program拿個BSc先再轉.

知道這個消息，感可惜的是如果這個醫學位沒有因為大學急搶人，而讓一個正常學習、考量多兩年的學生去讀，是不是較少錯配....

It is not easy for a Form 5 student to take medi. Even students finished AL find it difficult to cope with. Many students want to be a doctor just because of high income and social status without realising their own interest and capability.  The School should set a higher requirement for medi as the training  is very costly, about 4 million dollars per student.

當年她家人如果不是虛榮﹐讓女兒低調地，一步一腳印地先完成一個本科學位，再慢慢進修上去。她在大學的老師指引和經驗洗禮下，一定會有正確的選擇。

I am not sure study Medicine was her parents' wish or school's wish. I will put benefit of doubt to her parents.

We all share the same disappointment as her parents and herself. Wish her recover and bounce back soon.

15歲就決定終身職業，對小孩來說太大壓力。

所謂天才都要有一點運氣才會成功。如果凱琳的父母好像ANCHAN59一般有見地，她的成就會不同。可惜她的父母只是草根工人，不懂得為女兒打算。

當年她家人如果不是虛榮﹐讓女兒低調地，一步一腳印地先完成一個本科學位，再慢慢進修上去。她在大學的老師指引和經驗洗禮下，一定會有正確的選擇。

其實金錢和時間的損失其次，聞說凱琳近一年不敢接觸從前的老師和朋友。可見不快的學習經歷對她打擊多大。希望她快些走出不快的陰霾，從新投入校園生活。相信憑她的聰明，會有更好的發展。
