Parents interviewed DGJS last year (urgent)

Dear BK parents,

We knew last year the application requested the submission of the latest school report.

1. Just K2 school report copy? or both K1 and K2 school report copies?

2.  Our girl's school will retain the originals of the school reports until the graduation of K3.  We have the school reports now but need to return them to school on 1st Sept. We wonder in the first interview of DGJS, DGJS will ask parents to bring along originals of the school reports for checking? If yes, maybe we need to make advanced arrangement to request the possession of the original school reports in September?

SPCC - For submitting your application in the first round, no originals were needed. But during the first round interview, all originals should be brought along with for checking. You would be asked to cross-check everything with a SPCC staff. All originals would be returned to you immediately after checking.

Thanks for your reply. We are a bit confused. So, for SPCC, when we submit application, we don't need to bring along the originals of the document for checking.  When our kid is invited for 1st interview, the school will ask us to bring along originals, they will then check the originals on the 1st interview date? Correct understanding?

For DGJS - There was no need to submit any originals for the first round of application last year. We were asked to submit only an application form (2 pages), a copy of the latest school report, a copy of the address proof, a copy of the SKH member proof and a portfolio (4 pages, one-sided and A4). During the second interview, a lady would check your 1st round submission documents in conjunction with your originals.
For SPCC - You needed to submit copy only while during your first interview, a lady would check through your submission in conjunction with your originals.

Chululu, thanks also for your reply.  Ai.. it's very odd to ask the school to pass us the school results just for the sake of showing them to DGJS.... ai...

SPCC did not ask for original school reports, certs, etc last year.

you just need to submit copy of the school report (K2 since it is the most recent one) with your application form, portfolio etc.
they will only check originals if your girl is asked for 2nd interview. (during 2nd interview, a lady will check originals such as school report and proof of address)
can't help you regarding SPCC....sorry!!

Also, similarly for SPCC, whether SPCC needs to inspect the originals of the school reports?

Since our girl's school is one-dragon school, we prefer not to make request to get the school reports originals and tell our girl's school that we apply for other schools.... sigh.
