I believe Catholic is just one factor whih will add marks to the total. This will not be the key success factor.
Definitely there are also Catholics not got accepted.
In SPK, I saw many people have the Baptism certificate, how can the school entertain so many Catholics. The school also has to strike a balance of accepting non-Catholics.
Haha, even though my daugther is as naughty as a monkey at home, quite fortunately that she seemed to be a 服從性強模彷力高 child and behaved quite well (as she is afraid of teachers) during the interview just like what you have said. Maybe this is one of the reasons why my monkey has got her 8th offer, by the way, I am just worrying that we'll receive complains from the school because she behaves too bad at the kindergarten....
Both my husband and I are professionals, but we have no religious background or related persons at any kindergarten.... if I have, no bother to apply for 9 kindergartens.... really tired!
We are catholic and my daughter had Certificate of Baptism at the time of the interview.
She performed bad in the interview, crying once entered the classroom.
We got AM offer - LAST YEAR.
The kindergarten will consider all-round, not simply because you're / ain't a Catholic or whether you're / ain't a old-boy/old-girl or whether the kid's performance is good/not.
My daughter got True Light and SHCK AM Offer, SKH waiting list and St. Margaret and SPK reject offer last year. My daughter's performance in both True Light and SHCK was bad, she cried in both interview but we got offers. She performed extremely well in all the other three interviews but all negative replies!
