| 因為有好多人叫我 PM RDI, 我覺得需要講多d concept. 等大家認真考慮下. 中文好難打, 所以打左英文.
 RDI basic concept:

ASD means Autism Spectrum Disorder, NT means Neural Typical

 1. ASD is a chronic, complex, bio-psychosocial chronic condition. (lifelong)

 2. ASD brains become more static over time, while NT brains become more dynamic

 3. Static vs Dynamic
 - Static (Ape can): Instrumental: Requesting, Obtaining, Answering, Predictable
 -  Dynamic (Human can): Experience Sharing: Integrating, Comparing, Contrasting, Unpredicting

 4. Quality of Life:
 - Q1: Do people with Asperger's Syndrome grow up to be successful geeks?
 - Q2. Does early language, I.Q. & academic functioning predict later success?

 5. How do typical children become proficient in Dynamic Thinking & Communication?
 - Children's cognitive development is an apprenticeship - it occurs through guided participation in social activity with companions who support and stretch children's understanding of and skill in using the tools of culture.

 6. Different goals require different teaching styles
 - Specific skill: e.g. Deckhand, Playing the notes
 - Transferring wisdom: e.g. Future captain, Making music

 7. Guided Participation is challenge-based
 - Guides carefully evaluate the apprentice's level of competence and present challenges that are just beyond
 - Guides balance challenge & support

 8. Problems of ASD:
 - Children with ASD do not learn to "co-regulate" their actions to remain coordinated with partners
 - Children with ASD conduct little Social Referencing
 - Children with ASD fail to develop communication for experience-sharing
 - Children with ASD have a severe deficit in resilience (easy to break down)
 - The chronic experience of failure without recovery has a catastrophic result in ASD

 9. Etiology and Pathogenesis of ASD
 - Etiology: Diverse, Many possible neurological vulnerabilities
 - Pathogenesis: Common, Brains may appear more similar over time

 10. Proposed model of ASD Pathogenesis
 10.1 Threshold of neurological vulnerability
10.2 Breakdown of reliable communication system. Failure to develop collaboration & resilience
 10.3 Loss of Guided Participation
10.4 Loss of opportunities to develop Dynamic Intelligence
 Result: Neural Underconnectivity
 RDI Intervention: on/before 10.2
