would appreciate it if you could share some information about 慶鈺堂. from Internet, it seems to be a Taiwan company?
I used to bring my son to 慶鈺堂 for acupuncture. He has just finished the course of treatment, so we stopped going.
The doctor is a very nice Taiwanese lady. She even took the time to show us how to massage my son to strengthen his muscles, and reminded us to record it so we could do it at home.
People have seen improvement in my son after acupuncture has started. They didn't know anything about my son having other treatment. They just commented on my son's "sudden" improvement a few weeks after acupuncture has started.
My son would cry a little when putting in and taking out the needles, but would otherwise sit still to watch the cartoons. I have seen kids who would cry through the whole hour, but most kids only cry when the needles are inserted and taken out. Some bigger kids would struggle with the parents to be brought for treatment. The most difficult part is probably for the parents.
My son's treatment was finished at the end of July. The doctor said we should observe for signs of regression. If there's no sign of that, we don't have to go back. Acupuncture is to kick start the neurons and let them do their work - so to say. It's not meant to be a long term treatment.
There is a lot of discussion about this place here. You can browse the other threads. Each treatment is $250 and the needles will stay for about 1 hour on the body.
