我仔K1時有分，但Lower和Upper就無分大细仔班了，還兩年都有成3X人一班！

yes, there is still such arrangement in K1 this year, I think it's good.

Yes, they will group small kids together in K1 but there are also a few bigger kids in the same class probably to perform some sort of leading role.  For K2, it appears that they will also group some smaller kids in the same class especially for those who may need additional care in some aspects.  It does not necessarily mean they are not up to the standard but just because of their stage of development due to the younger age.  This arrangement seems good as the teacher can pay all round attention for the needs of the kids of similar progress.
