有無考到德望...而又會唔讀呢???

o係d forum睇到話有機會開返德望幼稚園, 真係又開心又擔心...原因係我住o係元朗....返學路途遠真係一個問題...
但我又好like GH, 好想囡囡入讀....咁就去試下考啦~~
因我囡係細囡...諗住都係去見識一下....無諗過收佢~~
我囡囡當日IN得好差...我都諗住無希望....點知24號收到信話收左~~
我咁多日睇住K1-K3嘅
FORUM, 無咩家長會放棄GH,
而我囡囡亦唔係讀SC, KV, 只係o係大埔讀....
搭咁耐車....好擔心小朋友好辛苦.....
唉~~
老公又成日只係話"你鍾意啦"...攪到我都唔知點算好~~
我係幫我dad & mom公司手, 公司o係上水, 又無得搬寫字樓~~又無得搬屋~大家可唔可以比d意見我呀~~~

請問你女是申請k1 or k2, k3呢? 你當初申請時是不是寫元朗地址架? 因為我當初申請k1時不敢用元朗地址, 驚學校會覺得我太遠, 所以用左土瓜灣地址(呢個單位租緊畀人),但d針卡就睇到是元朗, 不知是不是咁影響左阿女, 因為聽你講你女in 得不好都收左, 所以我好懷疑是不是我張表填的有問題定還是也原因? 因我女是大女, 又天主教徒, IN 時都不算是好差, 真是百思不得奇解. 來緊我仲有幾間心水幼稚園要IN, 所以都好驚是D表填的有問題.

My daughter luckily got the acceptance letter for K1, I feel very relief since I don't need to sit in the P1 interview anymore.  To bring up a child and put her in the right track both mentally and phsyically is not easy.  Learning is not just for marks but also self-manner. I will not just look at the HKCEE marks to prove whether it is a good school or not, it very depends on parent's effort to teach the child and also the child herself. I have a friend whose daughter was studying in St Paul but she sitll got 12 marks from HKCEE.    My daughter is now studying at a small class nursery and she is very very enjoying it and the teachers there are all amazing, its very hard to put her another school  but I have decided to put her at GH though.  I like SC and KV too but I respect other mum who have gone for it and give up GH, every mum has its own choice, pse respect others.

Besides, who gaurantee your kids will be accepted by SPK or SH????

I agree with you.  Everyone has his own preference, nothing wrong about that.  But fujitasze went to every thread discussing GH and said GH was not a good school with poor HKCEE performance.  However, he/she could not provide any proof to support his/ her view.  He/She seemed that he/ she hated this school very much and wanted to persuade all others that GH is not a good school.
If fujitasze doesn't like this school, it's perfectly alright.  No problem.  Just don't go to the threads which are discussing about GH.  Like me, I have no interest in SC or KV.  I just don't go to those threads.  I won't bad-mouth them.

我覺得只要佢讀得舒服,讀得開心,唔使擔心升學問題就夠啦......唉!其實我個女在啟思都讀得好開心,唔係升小學果方面的問題我都唔想轉!總之就煩啦

我都明白每個父母都是為了自己的子女好, 正如我一樣. 我細囡都不喜歡GH(INTERVIEW 當日), 問她點解, 佢話唔鍾意就唔鍾意, 無得解. 之後我已沒有再問了, 再提了,費時佢有壓力, 我又有壓力. 真的小朋友適應力好快. INTERVIEW完, 佢又話開心, 鍾意了. 但我到現在依然無同佢提及明年她的去向.

其實我只是想安撫呢道的媽媽, 並無其他意思, 如果小朋友一句說話, 父母就擺係心, 咁就慘啦, 會時常感到有壓力, 未解決了.

我心儀就只有GH, ST.MARGRET & 培僑....但我囡囡都算細囡, 如果2年後去考...都未必咁好彩考到~
而且我好相信....小朋友適應能力好高....希望o係呢2年...
佢能夠讀得開心....之後會同我講, 好希望能夠o係GH升小學....
我相信個個媽咪都係想自己仔囡好....咪都唔會由幼稚園已經開始為小學中學煩惱....
我由一收到GH收我個女封信....我一直都好開心又覺得煩惱....因為囡囡日日話LIKE自己嘅學校....我地一家人呢幾日都不停講GH嘅優點比囡囡聽...直到琴晚, 囡囡突然同我講話肯去GH返學...我真係開心到喊~~今日成個人都輕鬆哂....仲諗住星期二帶埋囡囡去交留位費, 去睇多次學校, 因為INTERVIEW當日佢不停喊, 根本完全無睇過學校就走左~~
希望你地個個小朋友都能夠入到一間好學校...

其實依家小朋友好叻，好多野都識表達，亦有自己的perference

我唔係話要個不足４歲的小朋友根據d乜野criteria自己選校，只是我會觀察及問她喜歡那一間學校多d,我選校時亦會考慮這個因素。

睇見宜家的人做父母做得好辛苦, 好多顧慮, 好多不必要的煩惱, 對仔女無"正確"的要求, 好多時都好"民主", 試問一個咁細個的小朋友會知道邊一間學校好?? 怎能等小朋友自己去choose(唔記得係邊個topic). 其實一個2-5嵗的小朋友, 一定係坐唔定, 企唔定(如果肯坐, 企定定, 就嚇親你), 每日都想玩, 但係佢地D媽媽就話佢讀唔到呢類學校, 其實唔試又點知呢??? 我覺得宜家的父母主要係無耐性去教小朋友, 自己都唔會坐定定教小朋友, 又點要求小朋友坐定定去學習呢??? 大多父母如果有經濟能力的話就用金錢解決問題便算了 . 其實GH係一間很好的學校.

我大囡讀緊F.4, 一直成績都好好, 回想GH當年取錄佢(P.1), 我開心到死, 我唔理GH HKCEE的成績係點. 我喜歡GH的校風, 老師的熱誠, 校長的威嚴. 多謝GH教育我大囡由一個普通的幼稚園學生, 到現在的高中生. 當然家庭教育亦須配合, 這是很重要的. 明年我細囡都被取錄K3 AM CLASS, 所以我唔會hesitate.

My husband even said he/she is very eager to go for GH but have not got the seat yet, therefore, keep saying it is bad, so if anyone gives up, he/she can have chance to get replacement. haha

(just for fun. Fujitse, hope you don't mind)

Again, I think all schools have its characterics which suit for different kind of kids, ppl may consider it as good or bad. We shall try search the most suitable one for our kids. For those unsuitable schoold, we shall not classify them as bad or lower tier. It is unfair for the kids study there or teachers who work there.

Elsat,

I have similar plan as you. I plan to put my kid in GH first & still plan for lucky draw, if lucky draw is good, I will go for it else I still have strong DSS backup. It is better than repeating the whole exhausted interview cycle again.

Btw, I won't consider 1 or 2 10A students from a school means the school is famous. Above avg overall is better than 1 or 2 extreme-successful cases.

I don't expect or put pressure on her to be the top gal in a school. I want her to be the average group there, enjoy & can gain knowledge & friendship in her school life.
