Victoria Kindergarten (Belcher) vs 聖公會幼稚園 (SKH)

Can anyone share their opinions on both schools? Which one is better? What if i want to have my son to study in SPCCPS..which has a better chance.

If $$$ is not a concern, why not choose Victoria for your kid.  Let them have a happy KG life and give yourself a longer period of honeymoon without chasing him/her to study for the exam and dictation, and too much homework.

If you choose Victoria, you will worry about adoption to P1 life, but if you choose SKH, you will worry about the English standard.  So, if English is more important in your weighing criteria, just choose Victoria lah.

Frankly speaking, both are good school and not easy to secure a place, with SKH more difficult  than Victoria tim. Thus, don't think too much until you get the offer.

Sorry, I do not know people studying in St Paul Church.

I don't have children studying in these 2 KGs.  But I know 3 mums whose children studied in Victoria PN last year all changed to SKH KG this year.  General comments are:  Victoria has less homework, no test and less difficult academically, so, the children are having less pressure, so supposingly happier KG life, but they may have difficulites in adopting to P1 life at the beginning.  SKH used to be a linked school of St Paul, now, though delinked, but people still think it has a higher chance of admission to St Paul than any other KGs.

Also, Victoria is better in term of developing your child's English as SKH is a local school that emphasis Chinese more.  Victoria's school fee is approximately 4 times more expensive than SKH as Victoria does not accept Eduction Voucher.  

Lastly is location, you have to note SKH's Central campus will be demolished soon.
