If the country of origin of the civil servant is an oversea terms Australian, I think the child of the claimant can claim OEA for studying in Austrialia.

如在傳統文化中學, 必須是居英權學生才可入讀其官立學校, 但較年長的學生(如預料生) 便可選擇由政府SUPPORT的FE COLLEGE, 但類COLLEGE可收海外生, 而學費較相宜, 只是本土學生免費就讀.

但這類學院, 學生必須懂得自己分配時間學習呀

As I remember, you can claim for the suitcase fees.  However, you need to check with ACO(P) for details.

Remind you, there are a lot of 'hidden cost', e.g. guardian charge, half term staying fees with guardian (if you don't have friends/relatives for kids stay); some school activities (field trip to france/ spain for a weekend break/ week if French/Spanish is taken - sometimes are 'must go'); other after school activities, airport pick up, etc, etc.

UK's living standard is very high.  I rememeber when I was there twenty years ago, one regular toothbrush costed me one pound.

Or you may say that the kid might skip all unnecessary activities (how can they make friends with others?)

Mind you, some guardians are money orientated.

Differant schools had a wide range of school fee. Better school received higher school fee. For Yr1 to 2, it is around GPB$6500 toGPB $8000 per term , for Yr3 to 7, it costed GPB$8000 to  GPB$10,000 per term.

General speaking, $200,000 per year for yr1 to 2 & $300,000 for Yr3 to 7

I think it is limitated by age, not by first year of U or not.

it must be 19 years old as the limit.

the current tuition fee in king's is already aound 19000 pounds.

You said that the university fee also differe from subject to subject and U to U. ranged from 9000+ to 10000+.  Is this annual fee or for one term only?  Does the quoted fee incuded boarding fee?

Oversea education allowance 7000 stering pound plus around HK$23000 for passage per year from government if you entered permanent establisment before Jan 1996.

School fee depends on the type of school, ranged from 7000 pound per term to 9000 pound per term for full boarding school.

The university fee also differe from subject to subject and U to U. ranged from 9000+ to 10000+.
