4. 校方不希望競爭太大,故不說有精英班,所以在成績表上亦沒有說明班名次的.當然如果你問老師,他亦會答的.

5.如果你女兒考全班5名之內,通常有獎學金的.

6. 通常情形之下學生不可以考GCE A-Level及中學文憑考試,因為課程有部分不同,而且有可能時間上有衝突,兩者都是在四五月考的

7. 但必須留意是GCE A-Level在香港報大學只可以通過非聯招方式直接向個別大學報名,但往英國升學就方便很多了,可以報英國大學聯招UCAS,香港大部分的英基中學是考GCE A-Level的, 除了KG5是考IB的.

想再請問有無分精英班? 聽講外來生會與小學上來的不同班?

No one inform us officially that they have 精英班, but everyone knows which class is the best.  From last year, most of the 外來生 have been allocated into 4 classes and mixed with the students from spc primary section.

1. SPCS 每年的Bridging Course都不同的, 再早一年是以電腦軟件學英文的,所以都要在註冊時才知

2. 通常外來生是一班的,只有部分French Girls是分派往另一班的, 通常是A班, 精英班通常是P班.但老師通常不會承認有精英班的.  精英班考大約10多名仍有80多分平均分,但最弱一班有70多分已考第一了.

3.  其實亦要留意SPCS在中三及中四是讀IGCSE的,到中五及中六學生就可選擇讀GCE A-Level或新高中的中學文憑考試.與DBS不同,它不會開IB班. 今年的中三是第一年推行這課程,已在中二及中三的家長日中介紹了.

個人覺得適應課程的重點不在於課程本身，而是有機會讓學生怎樣平穩地由小學生過渡為中學生。 還有，若果沒有上這個課程的話，我怕小朋友在9月1日都會幾徬徨，因為大部份也是原小學升上的，其他外校生在兩個多月的課程中已互相認識...

課程本身好似分三部份 ：
1. 數學 <--對非英小的學生尤其重要
2. 英文
3. Learning to learn

My daughter loves the school very much although she was to some extent "forced" by me to choose SPCS last year.  The girls in her class are very smart and bright, but I don't feel that they compete a lot with each other.  Perhaps they are still in F.1 or perhaps my daughter is not competitive enough so she is not the "target" in her class.

For bridging course, it is not compulsory but almost all the students joined the course.  I can't see the reason for not joining the course if you have decided to send your daughter to SPCS in F.1.

Are those who taken by SPCS must need to speak very fluent English and also top 10 of the class.
if the girl is a medium in school is it wasting of time to try to apply since a lot of preparation work needs to do.
