Concerning the information of " 雖然ICQM 0既音樂科係好似主科咁重要,但又未至於話係放左50% 0既時間係音樂上0既...只係一星期八堂0既音樂堂,同中英數主科0既課堂係有同樣0既比重姐...

再者,校長都話,佢地完成左中學之後,一樣可以係大學選修其他科目去讀,唔係得音樂一科可以揀,所以我覺得都唔需要太擔心佢地條路係咪窄左lor...", I think time will tell us the reality and truth, especially for those in Hong Kong.

I hope the school will give you a clearer picture of how many students can enter the universities.

其實我個人認為每一樣野都唔係只得"有"同"冇"兩種答案0既...唔係每一個有音樂天份0既人都會鐘意音樂,或者一定要鐘意去做音樂家,而喜歡音樂0既人亦未必一定係有音樂0 ...

Dear ming2,

You are piano teacher and must know very much about music.

To be honest (please forgive me if I say something bad), if the children (not your daughters) no 音樂天份, why they have to spend 50% of their time in music. Is it really good to them? Actually, I don't believe in what the principal said. If the children no 音樂天份 or just treat music as a good hobby, why they have to spend 50% of their school life in music while giving up other valuable and interesting things.

Music at higher level (university or above or professional musician) must  有音樂天份 and just haing interest is not enough. And music path is quite a lonely one at the professional stage and not as funny as the initial stage. Require a lot of practices, practices, practices etc. and never become prefect. Very very few people can become musician.

If one wishes to be a music teahcer only after studying in ICQM or will probably treat music as hobby only after grow up, one must have to think carefully before going to the school while there are other wider and happier roads.

That is my personal opinions.

其實我真係冇諗過佢地係咪特別有咩音樂天份,而要送佢地去APA度讀,只係覺得想搵一間開心,又純品0既學校俾佢地讀架咋....因為宜家基本上間間學校都要學音樂/器樂,咁不如全面少少係學校學埋,咁返到屋企可以有更多0既 ...

If children really have talent in music, better try the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where provides quality music training. Of course, it is harder to study there.

其實最初家姐仔去考時,我都只係抱住去探下路先...等足齡時再well prepare 咁去考,點知俾家姐仔考到...咁咪唯有跳班讀完個K3,今年上小一lor..

至於個妹,佢就因為見到家姐仔咁樣做,佢又好想好似家姐咁,成日同我地講 ...

If really referring to new private or direct subsidized schools (not those convented from old tranditional schools), parents have to pay attention because sometimes, they are not really for the children but for the school only.

我小朋友都係細b,仲要係最細個隻,幼稚園老師話佢d記性比大b還要好,三年幼稚園每次考試全部都拿A,當時老師知到佢叩門入到這間小學時,老師話以佢的資質一定可以應付到.

今年升讀小一,而佢間小學是傳統教學,工課/默書/測驗多到暈,工課每天都會有七至九樣,最初見佢都幾吃力,雖然話佢記性好/領唔力都算高,但始終體能真的不及其他同學,寫字會比較慢,尤其中文,幸好字體端正由甲-進步到甲+.

現在開學已接近兩個月,寫字都開始快了,所以我相信比D時間,速度應該可以追得上其他同學.

大囡係03年1月出世,今年九月已經上左小一啦..間小學係私校,所以係入學年齡黎講就唔洗跟到教統局果個咁足0既...

細囡04年4月,亦已考取到小學,將於下年九月上小一...宜家仲讀緊K2,不過下星期會跳上K3,以便下年可以 ...

其實，回想起當初的確係幾擔心我既小寶寶係一個細b，因為由幼稚園，到現在，以我所知，佢都係全班最細．（仲有佢係唔足月出世，得３２週）．

初初小一既時候，見佢仲好似個bb咁，傻下傻下，對自己又無要求，都幾擔心（其實唔係擔心佢成績，係擔心佢既態度，好似乜都唔緊張，又無所謂）；點知開學個零月之後，佢已經好快pick up 到小學既要求／進度．係有時做功課會要我陪下，同小小野都會問我．但係成績都無問題，到升小二，已經完全無問題．自己做功課／溫習．．．．．．．

仲有，佢全班考頭３名既，全部都係第四季出世架，所以，真係唔洗擔心架．小朋友一齊讀書，好快會有激起佢地既閙心架，小小月數既差距真係唔係問題．

which year is your girl in?  Is she still in kindergarten? Don't think the laws allow anyone to go to P.1 unless he/she is at least 5 years and 9 months old, your girl is gifted???

大女一月出世,不過早左一年入學,所以都算係班中0既細B,so far我亦唔覺得佢返學返得吃力,基本上功課同溫習方面我都只係提佢做/溫就已經攪掂,唔需要特別0既幫助...我都好滿意架啦... ...
