Time passes so quickly, summer vacation now for my kid, and moving onto K2

Went to school this morning to collect school report. So sad that this semester get closed so early due to Swine Flu. Looking forward to be classmates with you all in K2.

I also hope Swine Flu will go away soon. Otherwise, dont know what summer activities to organize for the kid, always worry places with too many peoples, easily get infected.

My son feel boring and being out of control. Beacuse I am not allow him to attend any ECA and I hope the Swine Flu will be disappear.

I asked my friend whose daughter graduated from KV last year, she said when kids move up from K1 to K2, they will be reshuffled again. That means our kids will be assigned to different classes next academic year.

It is such a pity that due to swine flu, 2 weeks of classes get cancelled. Potentially, the school may even cancel the last week of class ....

  her english still ok la, at least she'll speak. my maid has good english standard, she reads books with her and teach her try to ask and ans in complete sentence. (this is my request)

any idea for the kv girls'll study in which primary school. i know st. francis accept many kv boys.

I believe kv place more emphasis on Chinese. If you take your kid to outside places to learn English, it should be okay then.

for next year (K2), I believe they will have 3 homeworks and 1 dictation everyday, so the kids will definitely be busier than this year.

My son didn't get 100. Some mom told me it's ok if the range is 80 to 100, some mom told me most can get close to 100. I never revise for my son cos that is what Ms Sum said, she said this helps to test how concentrate they are in class...so I only occasionally read the Chinese word card for him. However, some mom said they revise a lot...I am not sure what I should do...

I think most of them can get 100 marks. I believe their ability because K1 is honeymoon year. However, on  next year will be more difficult to get full mark.
