It seems that it is quite easy to get an offer from RC for P1. I am considering to apply the RC p1 in 2009.

RC is still new comparatively, and the location is a bit further north...so for people who live in Kowloon there are a few other choices, not to mention those on the Island. I have a friend who got acceptance by BHS and RC and they chose BHS. So we had a better chance as we only decided to apply in March (2nd round). We would choose RC as we're quite confident with its quality and we like the new facility. My other son is studying there (Yr 7) anyway so it should make it easier. Every family will have different considerations.

I think most of the student will send application to more than one international school.
Most applicants need to choose between the offer from the traditional ESF (SJS, Beacon Hill, KJS, Clearwater Bay) and the offer from RC. After they get the offer from the above ESF, they will withdraw RC's, do you agree?
