我本身住響將軍澳區, 但唔近MTR, 所以打算就個囡08年入K1 ST. Paul而搬去港島區, 但而家個心都仲係15/16, 因為所有屋企人都住響九龍區, 雖然話香港唔係好大, 但自己要返工,始終住近d屋企人會有過照應嘛~ 同埋由一出生都住慣九龍區, 搬過香港好唔慣呀. 而且香港果邊d樓好貴, 但唔搬對個囡咁遠搭車又唔係幾好. 好煩惱呀

咁你要衡量下重要性，可能講緊幼稚園、小學同中學十幾年，既然選定了，必定有取捨。

我都係一半將軍澳居民, 其實要睇返你屋企有冇人可以揍囡囡返學放學, 另外你個度有冇690巴士到 ? 因為我之前查過搭 690 巴士都好快同好近, 其實我都諗緊搬唔搬好.

Nice to meet U! We also live in TKO (Hang Hau) and are in face of the same dilemma as you!! My girl will also attend am class in the coming Sept. The worse thing is, my son will start his P1 study in Wanchai in the coming Sept. Hopefully, the recent turmoil in the stock market will lead to price cuts in the property market... It seems irrational to buy flats now, esp. when the prices of HK flats are soaring back to the 97 level, right? My son will attend pm class while my daughter will attend the am class, maybe I'll send my maid to send them to the North Point MTR station and then take the schoolbus from school.

Any advice from other TKO moms?

Really nice to meet you too!  Actually I don't think there will be any price cut of the property, esp. in HK Island side even though the stock market is frustrating.  Investors tend to turn their investment fr stock market to property market leading to continously increasing the value of the flat.  How crazy the price is right now!

For your case, it seems that you do in need to move to HK island la as both your two little angels are going to study there ( & at least over 5 yrs).  Are u a working mom then?  If you are fully occupied to take care of yr child, then it is more easier to move right away.

For me, as I work in HK, it is better to move there rationally.  But in practical, so many factors to be considerated.

I'm a working mom, both my hubby and myself work in Admiralty, and I myself used to live in HK side, I believe we shall move to HK side, but probably not to be an issue within this yr. as we take a relatively pessimistic view on the future property market.

I've made an enquiry on the schoolbus caretaker, Mrs. Lai who informed me that my little one will have to get on the schoolbus at 7:05am if I take the schoolbus direct from TKO to SPK,

, which really scared me off. Probably, I'll send my girl to school before I go to office, I think we can get off later in the morning in so doing. For the return journey, probably my maid will pick up my daugher at North Point MTR station whilst leaving my son to get on the schoolbus at the same location, what about you?

Wow, u scared me ar, how come to let the little child to get on the school bus at 07:05 am everyday?  Impossible ma...

If all of your family members have to work / study in HK side, is it costly on the monthly travelling fee?  Will u consider to rent a flat rather to buy it?

For me, I tend to move to HK side but my hubby has hesitation cos he likes our current living place v. much & he works in NT.  So still in struggle... As my girl will atend PM class, I can't send her to school by myself but probably my maid has to do it.

For the return journey, I want to pick her up by myself at 16:30 (maybe need to negotiate w/ my boss to let me off 2 hrs earlier  as I really want to spend more time to be w/ her everyday.  But don't know if it really works or not

. If not, My hubby wants me to quit up the job but I don't want to give up my career ar. Full-time mom is not easy...

A full-time mom is really not easy ah!! Hope you can liaise with your boss so that you may pick your little one up at 16:30 la! Till now, I still can't resolve the matters arising from transportation of my 2 kids...

Renting a flat in HK is not viable at the moment since we are receiving housing allowance which restricts our use on purchasing flats,
