My kid is now at K3 and would like to put Wa Yan for all the three choices in the lottery draw. Is there any current Wa Yan's parents commenting on the following information :-
1. How's the standard of languages i.e. Eng & Mandarin ?
2. When the child has the Mandarin lession ?
3. How is the quality of teh teachers ? Are they keeping paces with the times ?
4. Is it lots of test and exams ?
5. Is it too many student in a class cas when I see the school class structure ; I found out that class 5 and 6 closes to 40 per class.
6. Is the school building too old ?
7. Does the school arrange enough ECA for the children as only half day lesson.
Thanks for your reply. I have some bad news to share. My grandpa passed away suddenly and his funeral was held today. Steven was pretty upset about it when we told him that he would never see his great grandpa again. I could tell that he was still upset at the funeral although he didn't make a sound or cry. I am pleading for you guys' help here because I don't know how to break down the ice and ask him to express his feeling. I don't know how to explain life and death to him as well. It is difficult because my grandpa was not Christian. Steven said that he would never see him again even when he died one day and went to heaven.
I'm pretty upset myself but I have to act strong around the family and Steven in particular. Sigh! This is a tough challenge for everyone.
Thanks in advance.
Raymond

I am sure Steven is a smart and good brother. He will soon discover the good side to have a younger brother around, to play all day long and sleep together.

Hi Chelsea
Steven will start school at 5 years of age. He's learnt how to count up to 100, do simple arithmetics, write all the letters and start reading story books.
i could only ask her not to do such behaviour even she paid for the candies. She later claimed her mom has a brain tumor and can't work any longer, so she resigned.

I think he's pretty advanced for a 4 and a half years old. Usually kids start schools at 5 years old here.
How are you going to cope with the younger boy going to P1 this year? How's work anyway? Good to see you still being employed. That's the best wish for most HK people these days, I guess.

Hey good old Raymond,
Nice to hear from you again, even a short message to know your latest movement.
Time flies that Steven will be a primary student this year, my younger son will be P1 this Sep t ...
Samuel's much bigger than my older boy, Steven. He's also a big bully too. Sigh! Steven's always tolerant. Samuel will then pull his hair, bash him on the face, or use a hard plastic toy to hit Steven's back.
Steven asked me to punish Samuel, but how? He's only 10 months old. So I have to tell Steven to be more tolerant. I know he doesn't like the idea of making further concessions.
Good to hear that both your hubby and you are still employed. Some of my mates in HK have been laid off already.
I'm keeping my position for sure and there should not be any change in the coming year. Good news is that the government is reducing tax this year again. So, this is like a pay rise.
How's your son? Primary 5 must be really busy. Are you still involved in the PTA?
