- What is the chance of admission? 1 out of 2? 1 out of 3? or something else?

- How many will be admitted? Any place already being "reserved"?

Congratulate to those who got 2nd interview.
I just got a letter, no 2nd interview, only say will post the final result on 19-Dec
Really have a little bit unhappy, but that mean my daughter does not suitable for their education method. Thats fine, there should have one that is good for her. I will keep looking for one is suitable for her.

Got the "rejection" letter today.  It was a pre-printed form letter dated Oct 23.  May be the school has already decided to reject my daughter right at spot.  By reading the posts here, I think many of the parents are really educated.  No hard feeling.  Besides, it would take tons of effort to bring her up in Chinese standard.

I do think there are something different this year. In my case, I am not rich, without any relationship, living in N.T. ,...etc. If they follow previous years' method, I dont think my kid can have the chance even for 1st interview. Personally, I'll more appreciate this year's arrangement because this shows me, at least, that they will give chances for other "Group 4" candidates

雖然我識生女既朋友不多.
但我認識的朋友中都有6個都入左圍.
其中兩個較熟.佢地真係好聰明好醒目好有禮貌.
她們的媽媽也真的下了不少苦工.
我地都估入硬. 唔入就真係太可惜.

I'm not living in public estate. However, when one looks at my address, one will know my flat values at about $1,500,000- only, a very cheap flat.
So, I don't think the address has any bearing on 2nd interview.

Is it possible that some applicants who receive this "reject letter" is in fact a ticket to the admission P1.  In other words, these candidates have done exceptionally well at the interview and obtained "straight in" without having to go 2nd-in but they have to wait until Dec 19 to get their final result.  Very unlikely though.  But who knows.

Understand the school receives lots of call everyday and created extra workload to their staffs, however, the way to receive such an unofficial  " Reject letter" but actually a "Reject letter" is rather .  Believe most of the parents must have thought at the beginning there is some good news inside the envelope.  How disappointing finally.  Anyway, what a surprise to us.   Good luck to those who got 2nd interview.
