本人住香港區,st. cat 收了囝囝,也聽到不少st. cat good point, 但你們覺得那麼遠上学,值得嗎? any opinion ??

Hong Kong Island also has a lot of good kindergartens. Having your kid to go to Kowloon side (actually NT) may be too harsh for her at her age.
Image how can her have enough energy for attending lessons after heavy traffic from Hong Kong Island to NT...

Pls don't make your son spending so much time on
travelling to school every day. He can spend his time on some other activities. I believe there're many kindies on the H.K. side which are as good as St. Cat. (or even better?!).

Travelling everyday is very very tired.
Don't do that unless this is your only option.

if your target primary school is in HK side, you should choose the kindergarten in Hk side as well.
Because if you are knocking door for some famous primary schools or choose private primary schools in HK side, they will have more understandings about the level/standard of kindergartens in hk side, they will be more recongised.
also, long travelling will be too tired for a 3-year-old kids.

I live in Kln, but I'd like my kid to study in HK island Kinder coz I am planning my kid to apply HK island primary schools next year.

btw, travelling should not be a very big problem: just to compare the time you actually takes, you got the answer--my kid is taking 1 hour to travel to Kln Tong kinder, but also the same time to HK kinder!! Cos cross-harbour po mo bus usually carries less students. Of cos the charge will be more than doubled.
U can consider.

I live in Kln East and have same reason with you so will send my son to HK Island for pre-nur/ KG in coming months. But seems very difficult to find a cross-harbor po mo bus, isn't it?

每日返三個鐘學, 來回車程可能都差唔多, 大人日日咁搭都辛苦, 何妨幾歲大人仔, 況且唔係只得一間好幼稚園.

There are some "specialist " po mo bus for cross harbour routes. If u 'd like to have the contacts, I'm happy to share.
I know some routes to Wanchai/ Central/ Happy Valley .

I don't think it is making sense to arrange to study in a school/kinder whicn required more than 30min transportation time.

As an adult, we have no choice that we have to go to work cross the harbour.

Besides, there are many kindergarten nowsday, really no need to study in a kinder far away from home.
