Re: Think International (Primary section)
I am very happy with its kindergarten section.
Think can give good standard of both Chinese and English for sure. I appreciate Anderson, and I know they try to organize many outdoor activities for the students.
However, I don't think its Maths, facilities and activities can compete with local schools or other IS. Another concern is peer group. Only one class in each grade is a concern. I think most of parents in KLT share this point of view. For G1-3 will not have any problem, but will this kind of setting be enough for G4-6?
I have visited several IS, DSS and Private Schools. It depends on your priority setting.
In terms of curriculum, facilities and activities, ESF is good (esp. Sha Tin College (High school) - (provided that if you are not thinking very expensive cat. of IS).
The New Reinas. ESF in MOS is really good, and they include Chinese every day. 70% of students are Chinese, but they set higher tuition fee.
You have to consider what kind of high school / university your kid want to do. For example, CAIS's curriculum doesn't fit US / UK university, other than its limited choices of subjects to choose in its high school. JIS fits US, but only has 1-2 Chinese lessons per week. YC and Singaporean are the other two IS famous for better Chinese.
Besides, it depends whether you want your kid to grow up with non-Chinese. If so, you should consider some famous IS on HK Island.
For me, my boy is in Preparation. I know several of his classmates submitted application forms already. Several of them did not have any offer from DSS, and they did not consider IS or local Gov't schools, their second choice will be Think. It's very tough process to choose Primary school though.
The above info is from my observation and personal point of view, but I hope it's helpful!
