Hello

應該有私校收咗, 都可以大抽獎. 但要交留位費. 所以有些私小會收waiting list, 到大抽獎後, 有些入到心儀小學的, 會放棄私校學位.

除非係直資小學收咗, 咁先要放棄大抽獎.

It all depends on the policy of the specific private schools? Where do you live?

Many of private schools in Kowloon are allow the parents to keep the seat and attend the central allocation but the situation was not same on Hong Kong side.

The following schools at Hong Kong island are not allowed:
聖嘉勤，高主教，維多亞，聖士提反(赤柱)

The following are allow :慈幼，聖類斯，真光(大坑)

So, before you apply the private school, you've to confirm with the school office whether they allow the applicants to attend the central allocation.
