Hi princessma,
Let me share the experience as same situation for me in last year, to decide what net in between Net41 or Net 31 as I also got the above addresses within my family. Maryknoll and St Mary is also our ultimate choice.
In net 41, there are famous schools as mentioned, and in net 31, choices are not that many with 2 YMT Catholic other than St Mary, 循道學校 may be the 2nd choice which are quite similar level as Holy Family and Kowloon Tong Government. In net 41, there are 3 girl schools including Marynoll and 2 Holy family (some may take Holy Family as the 1st choice), but only St Mary in net 31. So you can imagine that although Marynoll is generally more famous than St Mary, competition is quite similar to Marynoll.
So firstly, you need to consider which one do you like the most, and secondly, whether those 2nd choices will also be accepted. Lastly, apply private schools as back up in case of very poor allocation, and prepare for "knock door" in 3rd round. That's the rule of the "game" !! |
