其實放band A3係唔係要隱陣，否則好易失預箄？

About 90% of the main round offers are given to Band A applicants and the remaining offers for the subsequent bands are very limited. Hence, you should put a programme with Expected Score < or = your DSE score for Band A3 as a safety net.

想請問如果所有位喺A1 派哂俾夠分嘅人，我放A3, 就算我分數高過HL, 都入唔到？

The university admission office only knows which applicants are Band A but does not know whether the applicants put the programme under A1, A2 or A3. Hence, the chances are equal among A1, A2 and A3 applicants - i.e. An A3 applicant with higher score will get the offer before an A1 applicant with lower score.
