I normally use HK Post e-express. Below 2 kg and size limit as follows:
[捲軸狀] 直徑的兩倍加上長度合計不得超逾 1.04 米及最大尺度的一邊不得超逾 900 毫米。[非捲軸狀] 長寬厚合計不得超逾 900 亳米及最大尺度的一邊不得超逾600毫米。

No need to buy HK Post's boxes. I use A4 paper boxes.
You need to open an E-c ship account with Hong Kong Post, complete the customs details and print the form before posting the item.
