i don't think CXR is compulsory, but if the UK immigration officer has any doubt, he may require your daughter to have one done right at heathrow.
most important is the school acceptance letter+ student visa.
Re financial proof, i think you should get that ready to show him/her as well-- not necessarily bank draft, but you can also ask your bank to write a letter, proving your financial status which they believe your savings with your bank is enough to cover your daughter school fees and living expenses.
Remember to SMILE and be sincere when interview with the officer, and don't switch on mobile.(no joking, i saw someone talking on mobile and officer at the same time and of course the officer was pulling long face)
The school which your daughter is studying will provide initial basic check up with a registered GP.
is your daughter going to a boarding school? may i ask which one (just being 8).

oh one very important thing. it's better to bring your daughter's immunisation record eg MMR, TB etc....coz they require injection to their students if not already done so. |
