Though she is my only daughter and is a little bit sticky, she is willing to study aboard.
She is quiet, plays piano up to level 6 and likes swimming. Her favourite subjects are English, Spanish, Science and Geography. I think her academic results should be at the upper middle level.

Any recommended school for her?

I have approached an agent (da**) at Grand Plaza of Mongkok. Is it reliable?

經AA申請排名一百以內的中學例如Charterhouse, Tonbridge, Brighton，Harrow等學校最好是每年九月中前經AA辦理，因AA舉辧的名校周通常是每年約十月校長過來香港進行面試和筆試，現在才經AA相信AA會説很多名校已夠人而介紹其它排名較後的學校。

Would these high rank schools have quota for different agents?

If it is too late, I may consider to defer the plan to 2015.

I'm also gathering some information of Cheltenham, Headington, St Catherine and Badminton as you have recommended in another post.

In fact, would these high rank schools difficult to apply. Where can I find the number of HK students accepted by them.

I have shortlisted Burgess Hill and St Mary (Cambridge) from my agent. Any view on them?

Looks like you are keen on girls' schools rather than co-ed schools.
If your daughter is quiet, she may benefit from a smaller school where there is a more cozy family feel rather than a big school where one can get lost easily. That will mean St Catherine & Badminton (both ~ 500 girls) rather than CLC & Headington (both ~ 800 girls).
Another 2 even smaller schools I would recommend highly are St Mary's (Ascot) and Tudor Hall (both ~350 girls).
You should take a look at their websites and write / e-mail the schools & apply directly, but you need to do it soon as most schools will have their entry exams in Jan.

Agreed.

I don't like AA as well.

If they have enough "qualified" applications for high ranking schools, they would suggest you to take other schools, not a fair game to every applicants.

Besides, AA treats applicants from local elite schools and those ordinary schools differently.

AA's Top School Week is hosted in end September, and better apply as early as June or July! I called the consultant in early July and she said that I was rather late and not many timeslots available for my son during Top Schools Week.

Quoted from St Mary's website:

"If you wish to apply for entry to St Mary's, we suggest that you register your daughter at least two years prior to the year of entry. This will place your daughter on the candidate list to sit our entrance examination."

Yes ar, most top uk schools would have this policy stated in their website, but no harm send email asking them if you are keen, especially you are overseas student! Tonbridge also have this policy on their website but we can still apply a year before!

你依家申請真係太遲啦, 排名高一定無可能啦。我9月頭都試過自己send email去幾間申請, 全部都話close晒啦。
